We stayed here for one night for post cruise day. When I made the reservation, it was Holiday Inn. Taxi driver was bit confused by Crowne Plaza sign and he swore it's Holiday Inn. I walked in and asked the receptionist and she said today was the first day after name change. They did it because there's Holiday Inn Express few blocks away and both guests and cab drivers got mixed up many times. I requested early check-in which was honored. Any event, room was clean with comfortable bed and bathroom had all the essentials. I felt the age of the building but not too bad. After checking in we decided to venture out to Sydney downtown. Conveniently, Metro station was just 2 blocks north from the hotel. Breakfast room was very clean and peaceful with nice music. Food was also very good.

Life saver for those who have checked out of their hotels in Sydney early but still have a long time before your flight. My wife was unwell so needed a place to rest, but our hotel had us checked out by 0900. For a reduced rate, Holiday Inn allows you to book the room during the day (0900-1600 was our time slot). There’s free wifi and a gym but you have to pay $25 for car parking. Service was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my stay. Great to get a shower in before a long flight!

The staff was super helpful in holding our bags before check in time. The room was clean and very spacious. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the trains and grocery stores. The only thing we would have preferred was a smart tv to play our own movies and shows since the tv had limited channels. Overall, great stay!

Disappointing Experience I had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. Firstly, there was no drinking water here, which was unexpected. I had to drive 10 minutes to the nearest supermarket to buy water and tea, which the hotel should have easily provided. To make matters worse, the hand washing area did not have cold water. The hot and cold water taps only supplied hot water, which made it uncomfortable to use. This level of service is unacceptable and does not meet the standards of a decent hotel stay. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to the hotel again.

This is a review of the breakfast at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport Hotel (as we did not stay overnight). This was really very good, as we had breakfast on Sunday 18 August and we were greeted by the young lady who was so welcoming and friendly suggesting the different breakfast options and helping us to seat. The breakfast itself is quite varied and we were really positively impressed and satisfied.
