Life saver for those who have checked out of their hotels in Sydney early but still have a long time before your flight. My wife was unwell so needed a place to rest, but our hotel had us checked out by 0900. For a reduced rate, Holiday Inn allows you to book the room during the day (0900-1600 was our time slot). There’s free wifi and a gym but you have to pay $25 for car parking. Service was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my stay. Great to get a shower in before a long flight!

This is a review of the breakfast at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport Hotel (as we did not stay overnight). This was really very good, as we had breakfast on Sunday 18 August and we were greeted by the young lady who was so welcoming and friendly suggesting the different breakfast options and helping us to seat. The breakfast itself is quite varied and we were really positively impressed and satisfied.

I've been here a few times on business trips now. It is a modern, but nice hotel. It really shines through its friendly and competent staff, both at the reception and at the breakfast venue. Rooms are good, location is pratical for me, but not what you would call beautiful or interesting. You're in a semi-industrial zone, close to the airport. Subway to Sydney is within walking distance and reasonably quick. Breakfast is very nice with eggs made to order, fresh fruit and a wide selection of cold and warm food. Combined with a friendly and witty staff, it really makes the location shine.

Was expected a very generic hotel experience but was blown away by the friendliness and amazing value. Location is ideal both for travel to/from the airport and to/from the city. Located walking distance from the Mascot train and bus station, you can get to downtown in 15 minutes or the airport in a few minutes. Acknowledged IHG platinum status and was given an early check-in without even asking. Asked about breakfast and was given a free breakfast voucher which is above and beyond the standard benefits. It was great to check out their breakfast selection and surprisingly delicious. Gym is decently sized as well with 2 rooms. Small bathroom in the gym includes a sauna surprisingly. Didn't use it on this trip though. Also received a personalized hand written welcome letter at check-in which was a nice touch. Rooms are very spacious and while not the most modern, didn't feel outdated.

The hotel is modern and clean - the beds are comfy and pillows soft with two different choices of firmness(both too soft). There is no onsite parking unless you want to be raped of $75. We arrived at 9pm and were leaving at 415 am to park over at T2. The guy did us a deal and parked us in the customer checkin parking for $30 cash. There are no dining abilities but breakfast is included and at 4am we had cereal and coffee.
