Stayed 2 nights expecting a 5 Star experience. Reception was friendly but no porter to be seen. My room had old furniture, repairs to fixtures and there was no internet the whole stay. Apparently was out of service. Bed was comfortable and shower hot. There was a lot of noise from the street despite being 17 floors up. I ordered room service and it was perfectly cooked though even better than many restaurants I have dined in. I have stayed in at least 20 hotels in Sydney and hundreds globally. I would rate 3.5/4 Stars.

The whole process from booking to check out was seamless. Checking in was great, room was fantastic, clean and large. We received a lovely bottle of wine with a fruit platter as a honeymoon gift which was thoughtful. Rooftop pool and Sauna were lovely. We splurged and got room service and wow it was incredible, food was presented wonderfully and it tasted incredible. Breakfast was also delicious and coffee was great. Check out was easy and they held our bags for us while we were at the museums. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and have never had such a great experience staying at a hotel like we have had here. So thank you so much for making it special.

We stayed at the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park for 4 nights following our cruise. Perfect location!! We arrived before checkin time, however our room was ready and we were able to check in early. We were originally assigned a “handicap accessible” room, which we do not prefer (mostly because of the bathroom setups). However, after a quick trip to the front desk, the friendly, accommodating receptionist quickly relocated us to another room. The room was comfortable and clean (although the exterior windows could use a good washing!!), the pillows and bed were amazing, and we have no complaints about our room. We utilized the rooftop pool and enjoyed the amazing views from the top.

Besides the good location, this hotel does not meet any standards of Pullman five star hotel! The room was very dusty and not even prepared properly at check-in. I found a pair of socks at a corner under the desk, so what did they do while cleaning up or did they even clean up at all? The socks remain there until the day we checked out, I wanted to see if they noticed but apparently they did not! The bed sheets, pillows and blankets were all very dusty during our entire stay. They even left dirty towels with black dirt stain after cleaning up and I had to request for new ones. Very unsatisfied experience!

Excellent hotel in a fabulous location with amazing views and having all the key functions expected for a 5 * hotel. Very friendly reception staff, nothing too much trouble. Bar 36 food was plentiful and great value for money. Highly recommended, will come again.
