Had a wonderful experience at Pullman Hyde Park. It was an occasion birthday and the staff were absolutely fabulous - offered an early check-in, allowed a late check-out and bought up a beautiful cake to the room for my partner to celebrate his birthday. They really went out of their way to give us a great experience. The rooms was lovely though the couch wasn't particularly comfortable (I think it was built for aesthetics), though everything else was fabulous. We had a spa in the bathroom, the bed was really beautiful to sleep in and breakfast was tasty. I really can't speak highly enough of my experience and the professionalism of the staff. Thank you Pullman Hyde Park Team for a wonderful stay.
Just stayed overnight. Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Had a nice view of Hyde Park. We ate dinner at the restaurant which was really good (and the cocktails were nice too). Had breakfast at the hotel also which again was very good. Only downside was the situation with the lifts, was a bit slow getting a lift and cramped because of overcrowding due to one life being down. I think the bathrooms are also a bit dated for a 5 star hotel.
Booking by company - they were paying for meals as well which did not seem to be clearly on system as needed to be reminded of this everytime something was ordered. Room was a disability room which was fine - lovely view & great walk in shower but absolutely minimal vanity space - I am sure disabled people need somewhere to put toiletries. Room service menu after 9:30 pm is woeful - basically choice of 1 kind of pizza or 1 curry, hot chips or a Caesar salad with a 45 minute wait! Food at other times is pretty good.
- Room was very spacious with a lovely view. - We ordered room service on our first night and the food was delicious, great menu. - breakfast was very expensive for what was on offer. - some areas of the hotel were slightly tired. - lift service was poor and slow. - great downstairs bar. - sufficient pool and gym facilities. - great location.
Great service and great location. We have stayed here several time before and I am an Accor loyalty member which gives me access to some upgrades (like breakfast at a cheaper rate paid in advance and late checkout. However, this particular location is just starting to show signs of wear & tear and a bit dated on decor - still clean and very good but just starting to slip a little. Overall usual high standard. especially the service * buffet breakfast is awesome, especially at loyalty rates. On this occasion we paid a small fee for an extra extended checkout until 4pm (we checked out at 3pm) which basically gave us an extra day, great idea and well worth the small fee!
