I have stayed at many Rydges hotels before, so I felt comfortable booking again. That said, I was very disappointed. My main priority was easy access to food, as that’s important to me. At dinner time I walked down to the restaurant, only to find it closed. I was annoyed to say the least — especially given this is a large hotel. The hotel itself is very pleasing to the eye. My room was comfortable, and the bed and pillows were nice. However, the bathroom was a real let-down, with black mould clearly visible in more than one spot — very unpleasant. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again.

Great location. Rooms are very small, but equipped with most things you'd need including a standard mini bar. A gym/pool/spa would be really nice. You can use a gym off-site which is about a 5 minute walk. But honestly, just walking the city and harbour is good exercise too.

Location on Pitt St fantastic with most places within good walking distance from shops to food. The check in staff were terrible and decided to give us a disabled room when we didn't book one, we eventually were able to get a normal room like we booked. The hotel has no room service for breakfast or lunch which for a hotel of this really should, the hotel rooms also offer no clock, no spare pillows or blankets not even a pen and notepad. Car parking is also not on site but a short distance away. The staff lack good customer service skills you really do not think you're staying in a Rydges hotel at this hotel. The hotel also fails to notify of the ongoing works nearby which are heard through the rooms during business hours including weekends.

Love this place, I’ve stayed here a few times. The location and the boutique feel of the hotel is really nice along with old school guest service. My only gripe is the hotel is not listed properly in various different apps and uber drivers take you to world square as Australia Square doesn’t come up.

I had a Great experience staying with Rydges. I asked for the early check-in which was accepted by staff great help. Room looks Brand new. Service was Great & location is perfect & easy go around anywhere in CBD.😊
