I feel like the hotel gives you all that you need. I loved how comfy the beds were and that they provide free movies! The location is close to many things in Sydney, which is nice it can just be loud outside (but that’s not the hotels fault). You don’t really interact with hotel staff much - but Cindy was really helpful and patient! They also provide adapters if you don’t have things that plug into an Australian adapter.

Currently staying here. Room is fine ,location good beds comfy. But....... the noise from the nightclub is next level. Not to mention the jack hammering from the construction site which starts around 8 and goes ALL DAY !! We were not made aware of this so if you plan on a relaxing stay forget it. Self check in means no interaction with the staff. Disappointment.

Great location. Rooms are very small, but equipped with most things you'd need including a standard mini bar. A gym/pool/spa would be really nice. You can use a gym off-site which is about a 5 minute walk. But honestly, just walking the city and harbour is good exercise too.

I have stayed at many Rydges hotels before, so I felt comfortable booking again. That said, I was very disappointed. My main priority was easy access to food, as that’s important to me. At dinner time I walked down to the restaurant, only to find it closed. I was annoyed to say the least — especially given this is a large hotel. The hotel itself is very pleasing to the eye. My room was comfortable, and the bed and pillows were nice. However, the bathroom was a real let-down, with black mould clearly visible in more than one spot — very unpleasant. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again.
