Incredible location, close to multiple parking stations and every public transport option imaginable. The lobby is gorgeous but unfortunately that doesn’t quite extent to the rooms. Though well appointed and maintained, they are older / dated. I found the hotel to be quiet, bed comfy and overall a decent stay. However, for the price I’m sure you can find better / more luxurious options for the same or not much more.
Really good location for a hotel as they are a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay and a 15 minute walk to Chinatown. They have a promotion where everyday you decline room cleaning you get $10 in credit for their restaurant, so that's a nice choice to have. I don't love that they don't have a gym in the building, but rather you have to go outside to Anytime Fitness which they partner with. Also the room we got with a full bed was very.. "efficient." Not much room to walk about and the walls are pretty thin - you can hear someone turn on the TV next door as TV's are on the walls next to each other. Also our room was located on the interior, so we didn't have a view of the city at all.
Awesome location if you're trying to hit a lot of the normal tourist destinations. Very easy walk to Circular Quay, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The staff was very friendly and helpful in holding our luggage since we arrived well before check-in time. Rooms are a bit on the smaller size, but not bad at all. The shelves next to the bed were really nice to have... something you don't always get in a hotel. Lots of counter space in the bathroom as well.
Safe clean location. The restaurant and bar were closed (except breakfast which was good) the rooms are snug, not really enough space to open a suitcase on the suitcase stand (definitely can't open it and the bedroom door!) We were a little warm, ut not uncomfortable. Location is business district so quiet on the weekend but very walkable to The Rock ferry and most other things. The tablet check in was a mess and the desk isn't a concierge at all, it took quite a while to get assistance with the tablet being wonky. Otherwise a fine multi day visit. If there was assistance finding food or a dinner option I'd be happy to up the stars. Most the restaurant suggestions needed reservations.
For almost $400 per night, the room is too simple and small. No bottom water provided. The breakfast is good. Very convenient just like other big hotels.
