Reviews for Hyatt Regency Sydney

I am basing my review on the service at the hotel. I came here after a very unfortunate situation at the Park Hyatt that caused me to cancel my stay there. I was upset but I have to say that staying here made up for it. The staff at this property couldn't be nicer. My room has a beautiful view of the harbor. I was able to turn out the lights in my room and get a front row seat for the Drone Light Show on Saturday night. The Club Lounge staff is fabulous. The view there is also nice and the Happy Hour and Breakfast services are great. I usually avoid larger properties when traveling on personal trips but I am not disappointed with my stay here at all. The location is central and I was able to walk to so many great spots. I averaged 15k steps a day and that makes me a happy girl. Thanks for the hospitality!

We absolutely loved the customer service, the location, the beds, the club lounge and the staff. Everyone was so helpful and attentive. Our view was terrific, and we could watch the fireworks in our PJs!! The rooms have sleek, modern lines. However, I don’t know about other rooms — our was a King, Harbor view, club room — but ours had zero drawers for clothes! There is a small armoire with hanging space and a drawer underneath the hanging area that was taken up mostly by the safe. No shelves for clothes. No luggage rack or bench to lay even a carry-on. Nothing. We had to keep our clothes on the floor on top of a suitcase. When I mentioned this in a survey on our 3rd day, 2 luggage racks and a plastic set of drawers appeared in our room when we got back that evening. If all the rooms are designed with no clothes storage, then the rooms were designed by a man! No woman would have done this! Take out the ironing board and put in shelves, at least.

Great location for a hotel with a lot do and see around the area. Service was great though the reason why this isn’t a 5 star is because the room I received had flaws that was an inconvenience. In addition when I received the billing through email it shows that I was charged for the use of ‘minibar’ even though I never indulged in any of the snacks and drinks. The rooftop bar was amazing though with delicious drink options as well as the morning breakfast.

My stay at the Hyatt Sydney was nothing short of amazing. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with views that are simply breathtaking. The club level is worth every bit—the staff there made our time truly special with their warm hospitality, great food, and endless drinks. The omelettes at breakfast were perfection, and little touches like the crushed ice and water machine to refill my bottle were surprisingly thoughtful. The rooftop club was a highlight—stylish, comfortable, and the perfect spot to take in the cityscape. I also loved winding down at the Dundee Bar, which had a great atmosphere and solid cocktails. Honestly, everything about the stay was flawless… except for one small hiccup. Our check-in experience with a staff member named Carl was less than stellar and didn’t match the otherwise world-class service the Hyatt is known for. Luckily, the rest of the team more than made up for it. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’d recommend to anyone visiting Sydney. I can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel with my wife and I in one room and our son Phil, our daughter in law Sarah and our granddaughter Aria in another room. Everything was awesome and one of the Hyatts managers, Mr. Wichaya Totirakul looked after us perfectly. We’ll definitely be back, thank you Gio!
