The room is good . I like the view. And the room is. Very nice and cozy. Lots of space.and I like that when you look down you can see a very good view of the lobby. The staff are amazing. The cafe had good food. I was really to go to the pool , but it was closed due to leaks. Sad, but it’s fine becuase overall this hotel is still good.

Overall I had a good stay really. Comfy beds, good shower, close to the airport, close to the shops. Honestly everything you need and decent food. The lady who delivered my room service was amazing and sweet and so kind and honestly made the stay so much better. My check in experience though was super average. The lady serving me barely acknowledge me, took her time processing everything, felt like she was looking down at me the whole time. The person next to me finished serving two people in the time it took this lady to serve me. She made no attempt to make me feel welcome, if anything I felt like a inconvenience which is never how you want your stay to start.

Don’t leave anything behind… My husband left his expensive aftershave in the room. When he called them a couple of hours later it had gone. Perhaps the cleaning staff thought it was a tip? I’m not happy. I would have expected it to be handed to the desk.

Reception staff lovely and friendly, very efficient. Room was clean, tidy and large. Parking was easy and location good to the airport, about 6 minutes away in car. DFO directly behind. Restaurant had lovely meals, reasonably priced and lots of choice. Restaurant staff were also exceptional.
Wanaka Wedding Hire
Novotel is a bit more 💰 than hotel down the road. But it's way better. Our room has a great view. The bed room is big and its clean, win win. It's right next to the DFO shopping mall, you can catch a bus from the airport to the hotel. We went to a restaurant in the mall it was👌 This place is good 👍
