Not one to remember. Power failures, fire alarm evacuation, luckily was a false alarm. Use of access cards shorted by 2 days. Had family visit, offered only bedroom for granddaughter to change, sliding door was broken. Initially were allocated room on level 9, but spabath was only way to access shower. They were pre advised that my wife would have trouble accessing the shower as bath was quite high. They supplied fold up plastic step & rubber mat which I considered quite dangerous for anyone , especially elderly, one slip & it could cause a fall & injury. We were moved to level 4, lost the better view & I've already stated the room faults. It did give us a walk-in shower, the only positive. Staff were very accessible & friendly & we were offered a discount on our stay which I accepted. The grounds were excellent as was the location. However we won't be returning any time soon. I was advised the discount would be back in our account in 2 to 3 days but again was advised, after phoning 3 days after getting home, the refund would be 2 to 3 weeks not days. Needless to say we'll be checking our bank statement for the refund. Couldn't possibly recommend the accommodation, far from luxury, just an oversize motel room, they called it a superior suite. It made it really easy to looked forward to going home.

8 lads in town for a golf trip staying in 4 rooms. Clean rooms, spacious rooms, great location, we had water views, pool/spa fantastic. Only downside was each room had 1x king bed when we hoped for 2x singles - was promptly sorted by housekeeping though. Will stay again!

We have just had a 10 day stay here. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and the reception area was very clean and inviting. We stayed in a 1 bedroom superior room. The room certainly wasn’t superior. It was really in need of an update. The carpet in the lounge was stained, the TV was useless mainly news channels. The shower was over a spa bath with a curtain and really difficult to climb in and out of. I thought showers with curtains went out with the dark ages. The bedroom was really dark and uninviting. It certainly wasn’t worth the money we paid. We had a great view which was great but really awful traffic noise as close to a busy intersection. The resort is very handy to restaurants and shops and the supermarket is right behind the resort which was a plus. Unless there was major update of the rooms we would be unlikely to stay here again.

The location is great, close to shops, bars & food places. Easy walks along the Esplanade to the Wharf. Amenities are great too, with a top class gym, heated indoor pool, and a good size outside pool. Although we had a partial ocean view with a balcony, the room was disappointing - requires a renovation. The bathroom is outdated, tiles have stubborn mold, insufficient ventilation & the toilet is old and doesn't flush well the first time. The towels also didn't feel soft & clean, especially the hand towels. To get to the shower you had to climb into the spa which had a high side so you had to be careful. The televisions are old and small in particular the living room was 32" & the bedroom had a 24". You could only stream a movie from the living room area not the bedroom because it had no internet access. The wifi drops out constantly. On the wet weather days it's good to be able to stream a movie without interruption. The ducted air conditioner is outdated. The bedroom has a musky smell, the bed pillows & linen need a refresh, they have an unpleasant odor. Found a blanket in a blanket bag that did not smell good so put it back. The kitchenette has a small induction cooktop that you can only cook one pan at a time because the pans provided are too big, it needs smaller ones. It's such a shame that the owners of these privately owned apartments don't have the resort lifestyle foresight for improvement. It was unfortunate that we were allocated a room that did not meet our expectations, perhaps other rooms in this complex were of a high standard but this one wasn't considering we paid a premium price for this so called luxury superior room.

We stayed 5 nights at the Mantra Mooloolaba and enjoyed our time there but have a few tiny recommendations that would have made it even better. Firstly, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE upgrade your mattresses. The mattress felt very basic and wasn't super comfortable and as a result we did not get great sleep and it left us longing for our own bed by the end of the stay. Secondly, the TVs are quite dated, in particular the one in the lounge room felt like it was from the early 2000s.
