Excellent location and very comfortable stay The hotel has a fantastic location — very close to the tram stations on both sides, making it extremely convenient to get around. It’s right next to Surfers Paradise shopping area and just steps from the beach. There are plenty of activities nearby, so everything you need is within walking distance. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are spacious, water pressure is strong, and it’s easy to adjust the hot water. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. There are also many elevators, so waiting time was minimal. Overall, a great stay with excellent convenience and comfort. Highly recommended!

Great location. Great buffet breakfast. Great ocean views. Hot water spa pool was great. Reasonable laundry services. Things to improve Pool area and gym is not very welcoming, needs a lift. Pool water surface is 30cm below ground makes very hard to get out of water etc No consistency in room service from day to day. One day 3 toilet papers another just one. Same with towels. Consider leaving a bottle of water in the fridge especially for international visitors who are not accustomed to drinking from taps.

Booked a superior room with 2 double beds and a mountain and river view, and all we got was view of scaffolding. No mountain or river view, which was the main reason I booked here. My daughter is attending a festival (spilt milk) and I came for company for her travelling as we are from Tasmania and enjoy a balcony with views, but there's no view whatsoever. People walk past all day to get to and from pool, so no privacy either. Room is acceptable, but no microwave. To have a shower we have to step inside the bath, no rails to hold on to, (very primitive and dangerous) especially if you have had recent hip surgery. Also, there is a step up into the bathroom, but no sticker on floor to notify anyone to * watch their step or beware of step', same with balcony. Was so looking forward to having a view so I could chill, while daughter attends festival but honestly, its not worth stepping out on to balcony whatsoever. And, for the price I paid, for two nights accomodation, I expected better. We won't be back here again.

I have mixed emotions writing this review as I find it quite challenging. The hotel defiently had its positives and negatives like any where. Check in was seamless, however the check in staff member could’ve had more personality. All he said was “hello” and the room number about 5 minutes later. Never explained anything, pointed to the elevators, spoke about breakfast etc. so that was slightly disappointing. The room itself was good but not what I expected either. It was a very dark room and the lighting is incredibly poor. The room felt a little bit doomy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I got a good nights rest. The air conditioner though seemed to struggle to bring the room temperature down though so that was a little uncomfortable. I missed housekeeping three days in a row, so come the last day the room was starting to get a little tacky. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and hit the mark each morning, however the cafe downstairs was a little hit and miss. Waiting 20 minutes for a gin and tonic was a little excessive and service was very time consuming with only one person working in there. Overall the hotel presents very nicely and was good. I just don’t think it was my “cup of tea” so to speak. I don’t believe I would personally stay there again, however I would still recommend it to others.

Room cleanliness is okay. Location is great. However, the biggest flaw for me is that they do not provide basic needs in the room such as a simple dental kit and a slipper. I requested a dental kit in the reception area but they charged me extra for that. I believe a good hotel provides instantly the basic supply a room should have without any additional costs (especially if you're already paying premium). This is a no no!
