100% recommend the cascade to anyone visiting. Stunning grounds, and good food and beers- both reasonably priced. Would also recommend doing the brewery tour because the history is pretty interesting and you get a tasting paddle at the end đ

Cascade Brewery is definitely worth a visit for any beer lover. The historic setting is absolutely stunning â nestled at the base of Mt. Wellington, the grounds and heritage building offer a truly unique atmosphere. The beer? Excellent. You can really taste the craftsmanship in every pour, especially if you enjoy classic styles done right. The ambience overall is very pleasant â relaxed, scenic, and perfect for an afternoon out. However, the staff interaction left a bit to be desired. While they were efficient and polite, they didnât seem particularly keen to engage or offer much beyond the basics. It felt a bit transactional, which was a shame given how welcoming the rest of the experience was. Still, if you're after great beer in a beautiful setting, Cascade delivers. Just donât expect a chatty or overly friendly service experience.

A really cool place to eat! The brewery is right across the road and the bar is quite beautifully designed as well. Didnât like the high table for dinner as it was barely able to fit our two plates and two beers. But the food was very good and the beers were amazing! We just had parmis but they were done perfectly and chips were crispy. Staff were very helpful and the food was brought out quickly. Parking was very easy just in the lot next to the restaurant. I would recommend booking a table though as we did and I noticed a far few tables with reserved signs on them. The venue was pretty loud at times too, sometimes making it hard to hear my partner across from me, I think this was mainly due to it being winter and all the doors needing to be closed which made everyoneâs talking quite loud.

We had a great lunch at Cascade Brewery! đ» We tried the beer tasting paddle, which was a fun way to sample a few different brews. The food was spot on â we had a classic burger and a delicious chicken parmi. We sat outside near a heater, which kept us warm while we enjoyed the stunning views of the gardens and Mount Wellington in the background. Such a lovely spot to relax, eat, and enjoy good company. Definitely recommend if you're in Hobart!

Wonderful afternoon spent at Cascade Brewery. We did both tours, shout out to Jasmine our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and obviously loves what she does. Loved the beer paddle after the tours, we also had food which was great. Gardens are amazing, just a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Highly recommended!! Something for everyone.
