Let me paint you a picture. You are served on arrival by an amazing waitress who sits you under a beautiful tree on a summers day looking over the incredible vineyard at Bianchet. After ordering your first drinks, you are told the chef had just come back from sourcing fresh local produce. Which leads to you being delighted to taste the delicate flavours of your Kingfish and Beetroot appetisers. The team at Bianchet have done an incredible job providing a wonderful experience in the Yarra Valley. It is clear that their food and produce are treated with upmost respect and care. Thanks to the team for having us, can't wait to visit again soon!

I had my 40th birthday lunch here in November 2023 and was very disappointed. There was a function the night before so they had a limited drink and food menu to choose from. the air con did not work nor we were allowed to open a door for ventilation. The winery states it closes at 4pm and we were asked to move outside by 3pm and then asked to move off the premises about 15 mins later due to staff not being on site. I only found staff to be friendly at the beginning of my lunch. I had friends travel to celebrate my special day and felt disappointed that it had to end so abruptly.

Sep 2022: Amazing cute dining room with floor to ceiling glass and excellent views. All the food was excellent. Quail, steak, Murray cod. And the wine. Would have stayed longer if didn't have to drive and stop drinking! Note: the quaik stater had massive raisins / sultanas in it which I don't like. Didn't say it on the menu (I think - unless they have a different name I don't know of). Not enough to lose a star but the menu should list all ingredients.

Had a two course meal here, wish we’d had more time so I could have had the dessert too! Everything was delicious, however I ordered a rare steak and my friend ordered medium-to-well-done, but we both got medium-rare.. hers was arguably more pink than mine! It was still delicious for me but she left most of hers. Will be back all the same :-)
