I've eaten my share of avo on toast, but this is hands down the best I've ever had! A classic with a few delightful quirks, such as a drizzle of pomegranate molasses and adding a side of pan-fried sujuk, takes it to a whole new level. We also ordered the mushrooms on toast, which was delicious. Coffee, nothing special, service was great, and the cafe is located inside a lovely home decor shop that feels spacious yet cozy. Edit: returned and tried the Moroccan lamb and some cakes (new pics uploaded) - everything was amazing!!

Wonderful place for breakfast at Hawthorn! Very close to Auburn Train station. The ambience is sooo lovely. Food was also very tasty. We had Persian baked Eggs, Middle Eastern Mezze Breakfast and for our son we ordered just simple scrambled eggs on toast. We had been there on Father’s Day and was quite a busy place so best to book in advance to avoid wait. The place was kids friendly.

Lovely place and nice pastry shop. I had a warmed up chocolate croissant for $7.25

Very nice and welcoming cafe that is part of a homewares store. The decor is beautiful and has a Mediterranean feel. There's a nice selection of Mediterranean dishes and they taste fresh and delicious. Will definitely be returning.

What a pretty place! There was even a small bridal shower in one section of the chic, sizeable space, which also has a retail area for homewares and beauty products. The café menu is Mediterranean based. My slow cooked Moroccan Lamb Shoulder was juicy and had enticing flavours from Labneh, sumac, pomegranate, kale, chickpeas, cauliflower and couscous. My friend's enjoyed their meals. All the dishes were beautifully presented. We finished by sharing the Orange and Fig cake and the Pistachio and Rose cake. The vegan cakes had great flavours and were aesthetically pleasing. I'm just not sure about their texture, which was overly moist and lacked the fluffy lightness I like from normal cakes. Staff were welcoming and super friendly. There was a good vibe and atmosphere despite the place not being loud. Zoobibi is good for functions and smaller get-togethers. I really like the shop-cum-cafe business model - smart for them and entertaining for us.
