Stayed at the Mantra on Russell for 6 nights in March. The staff were attentive, friendly and had a sense of humour, which is refreshing! The location is spot on, being close to some really good restaurants. I stayed on the 16th floor, it was quiet and the room was very clean. The breakfast in the morning is a simple affair, but kept me going for most of the day, it was also pretty quiet during the week, which was a nice start to busy days. I would stay here again, in a heartbeat! Thanks Team!

We booked a room and it was amazing. Our TV was not working and kept dropping out so they moved us to another room on the 6th floor. The room was so big and we even had an outdoor area to go outside. The service was 💯 percent amazing and they service from the staff was to die for. It's a shame all hotels in Melbourne don't give the same service. Thank you from Gregory and Dorothy

Good location, helpful staff, large room. However, for $230 a night you would expect at least a small side table to sit at and drink a refreshing drink after a long days' walk or enjoy teas at night. Minimalism doesn't work if guests need to put luggage down; we can't be expected to eat, drink, set our luggage down on the small built in bench directly under the TV. A beautiful view outside the balcony though difficult to enjoy the balcony space when the only furniture available are two heavy old chairs one has to drag outside. Bed comfortable but room decor needs help. Room too dated for what you pay. When compared to Brisbane and Broadbeach, Mantras, sadly doesn't compare.

Great place to stay for a few nights!! Only thing is, the bed was just a little bit too hard for our liking. But everything else was great.

Excellent place to stay. Located at the heart of Melbourne in the CBD zone. Local and branded shops all around with corporate offices and universities. The one place where the balcony view gives a sunset and sunrise view on either side. The staff was polite and the stay was comfortable.
