Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Good old fun day out for the kids. The bumpers are automatically turned on for the kids and off again for adults. If your looking for a rainy day activity I'd highly recommend it.

This was the first and last time I will go bowling at Strike Bowling Glen Waverley. What horrible lanes and balls. Our 1st game was on lane 1 and we noticed that it slopes badly off to the left near the pins. We requested a change of lanes after the terrible experience of lane 1 and were put on lane 6 which was noticeably better. We talked to a staff member about the sloping lanes they admitted to us that the lanes were 15 years old and lane 1 and 8 do indeed slope to the left and right which made us feel justified in requesting another lane. The next issue was the state of the house balls. In all the years I've been bowling I've never seen bowling balls in such a sad state, pitted gouged and really horrible to bowl with. We had both left our own balls at home as we wanted to try using balls a couple of Lbs lighter. It's been 24 years since we bowled league and we've been finding our own balls a little heavy but due to the terrible state of the house balls it was an experiment doomed for failure. We were informed by staff that the lanes are going to be refurbished soon and it's not before time. If it wasn't for the lovely, very friendly staff I would be giving one star. I feel that the $60 it cost us for 2 games each was terrible value and an absolute waste of money when you consider what you get at Zone Bowling with their great value Action Zone Pass which includes 2 games of bowling and or laser tag, 20 minutes of Time Play, 200 power tickets and a $5 Cafe voucher, it was a $10 voucher until about a week ago which is a pity but compared to Strike Bowling's $60 for 2 games x 2 people and $7 for 2 small glasses of soft drink, and when you compare the excellent lanes and much better house balls Zone Bowling smashes Strike Bowling out of the park. In fact, the only reason we chose Strike tonight was because Zone down at Forrest Hill was booked out I think due to league on Tuesdays. If I'd have known just how bad tonight was going to be I would stayed home and not wasted the $60. The music was also too loud and the flashing videos and dark lanes were very off putting. Such a disappointing experience.

Great place, great staff, and great service! We came here for my partners birthday to do bowling and karaoke and they took care of us the whole night. We didn’t get a chance to finish up our bowling before starting karaoke and they gave us another round of bowling, on the house, once we finished karaoke. The service was great at the bar, the service was great for bowling, and the service was great for karaoke! The room was great for karaoke, and had so many song options. The staff really go the extra mile here, they even gave my partner a birthday present and birthday card. We will definitely be back. Special shout-out to Nora, Kedde, Akash, Ethan, Heather & Neil!
