Service to accommodate our diner with dietary requirements was very good. They had a reminder card in front of her and manually marked her menu with items she could not order. For the price paid, the nigiri could have been more draped on the rice than sitting atop.

Super nice food, and great atmosphere just the location it’s not that good. My mum said that it’s the best Japanese restaurant she had ever had in Melbourne. (We had been to a lot of fine dining Japanese restaurants) worth to come back.

This is a very nice restaurant. Beautiful food, surroundings and service and a nice wine list as well. The lunch special is lovely and quite good value for the quality. We left very happy with the experience

Kisume feature was worth it if you want to try a little bit of everything from the sushi selection. Everything was fresh especially the salmon and kingfish (top favorite). Octopus karaage is also worth a try! Definitely something new and the star of the night for me. Edamame from kisume is probably the best I’ve tried so far. We dined downstairs tonight during an early seating and we were one of the first people who arrived. Staff was very attentive and explained the menu to us. Loved how they give accurate recommendations on drinks based on our preferences. Appreciate the staff who took our dessert order as well when I asked if I can get a something like a birthday cake. The sign and candle was such a lovely touch! Went beyond my expectations! Got the hazelnut daquoise. Overall a great dining experience for special occasions.

Came here on a weekday for the lunch special at this fine dining japanese restaurant in Melbourne and ordered the chirashi set for $29.50 which came with Miso soup to start, beautiful setting inside. ambience and atmosphere were nice. the food was delicious and tasty. It was on the expensive side. plenty of seating, it filled up quickly despite being a weekday lunch. It's worth a visit if you enjoy japanese food. and extensive wine list. bookings are recommended.
