My partner and I came here for our anniversary and our expectations were exceeded. We love Japanese cuisine and really enjoyed the quality and flavours of the fish and meat. The cocktails were also well balanced and delicious. The wait staff were very nice and attentive. Definitely recommend coming here.

I came here for my anniversary and wasn’t sure what to expect. We were kindly greeted by a gentlemen in a suit who politely guided us upstairs to our table and straight away were impressed by the atmosphere and decor. Waitstaff were polite, elegant and informative whenever we had any questions and made both my girlfriend and I feel special. Now I am a huge fan on Japanese cuisine, and in Melbourne there is quite the variety, but this felt like a very different level. We had the 5 course premium menu and every course that came out left us wanting more. Exceptionally balanced and the perfect quantity by the end of the meal. For dessert they bought out a chocolate mousse paired with a chocolate disc with “happy anniversary” written on it, which my girlfriend and I were very impressed with. Overall, I absolutely loved my experience at Kisumé and would go back. It is expensive, however for the quality and creativity of the food/drinks along with the service and atmosphere I’d happily pay a little bit more. Worth the tip!

Kisumé is an authentic Japanese restaurant that reminds you of the type of cuisines you get in Japan. We went for my wife's birthday and she and I both love Japanese food! We felt the portion sizes were generous and the food was extremely tasty. We got the 5 course Chef's menu and our only regret was not booking early enough and upgrading to the Chef's Table. The experience looked amazing and we definitely want to try that option next time we visit! Highly recommend Kisumé

Unbelievable gastronomy at the chef's table. Highly recommend this! Every dish was just so unique, created with careful curation and they all tasted wonderful. You're really taken on an amazing journey throughout the night. Without a doubt, book right away. I highly recommend it!

Always loved Kisume. This was my first time back since I had to go vegan and it was just as amazing. I dined with a large group and the Kisume team were able to serve 6 courses vegan alongside the regular menu.
