We came here for Christmas lunch today. I must say I was super impressed. The place was packed and yet we never felt rushed or in need of anything. Smooth service. Insanely delicious dishes. We tried 14 dishes all up and were continually impressed with each one. Oh and the cocktail jugs are a must to get the conversation and celebrations happening. Great value and matched perfectly with the menu flavours. We easily stayed here for three hours and could have stayed much longer. It seems that the outdoor area has a misting spray to keep outdoor patrons cool on a hot summer day. We enjoyed the eclectic decor and the smiles for miles staff who really seemed to enjoy the experience as much as we did. Thanks again. BangPop. Will be back for sure! 🛺 🛺🙏

Large and bustling Thai restaurant located in Melbourne’s South Wharf, a short from the CBD and next to the DFO outlet mall. Always seems busy so you may have to wait a few minutes for a table if you haven’t reserved a spot, but the wait is worthwhile. Dishes are tasty and plentiful- menu prices are reasonable for the location. Unfortunately it was raining the day we went so we didn’t get the full experience but will return on a nicer day.

Great restaurant. The Thai cuisine here was absolutely delicious. Actually is say it was the best I've had outside of Thailand . Service was excellent too. A must visit.

We had our Christmas dinner at Bangpop, enjoying outdoor seating on a summer afternoon. We didn't mind the heat, as the continuous mist kept us feeling refreshed. Food- Calamari - 3.5 Cab Moo (fried pork) - 4.5 (recommended) Tom Yum - 4.0 Crying tiger - 4.5 Pad see ew - 5 (recommended) Pad gropaw gai - 5 (recommended) Drinks are also spot on. Serving size is enough for a group. We were 7 women and the food was more than enough. Price point - not too expensive. I will definitely be back.

2 adults. Tuesday night, busy, good atmosphere. Pork Bao lovely crispy skin, pork a little tough, nice hoisin sauce with pickle missing coriander, carrot, but still nice. 1 x Pad See Eew, 1 x Pad Thai both good flavours. Good temp. Worth the wait. Delicious cocktails. Priced appropriately. Would visit again to try other dishes.
