Had a lovely lunch at BangPop yesterday. Forgot pics of entrees but they were lovely, spicy chicken tenders, spring rolls and prawn crackers. Mains were beef cheek massaman curry, chicken pad thai and roti with peanut sauce, all delicious and the front of house guys was delightful!!

We had a hour sitting before we had to go and attend a comedy show in the nearby Plenary. I had to say the staff were very helpful in getting a table for 4 ready within 4 minutes of arrival. We had our meals within 10 minutes of ordering and had our delicious meals with 15 minutes to walk over. All our dishes were tremendous. The flavours were light and refreshing (and not getting that bloated feeling you might get at other Asian restaurants). Well done to all at BangPop South Wharf

Great view of the river. Pad Thai was fantastic and was able to order without chili. Bangpop beer was good too. Got in just before 5:30 when happy hour was still on.

We visited BangPop for dinner on a Friday night with our teenagers, after a trip to DFO. Located right by the river, the restaurant was very busy, crowded, and quite loud, which definitely created a vibrant atmosphere but made conversation a little challenging. Despite the high volume of customers, the staff were attentive and clearly working hard. The ordering process was efficient, managed entirely via a link and payment on the phone. However, due to the volume of customers, there was a substantial wait for our meal—it took around 40 minutes after we ordered for the food to arrive. The dishes we had were okay (satisfactory). Overall, it's a very lively spot, but I would recommend visiting at a less busy time if you are looking for quick service or a quiet dinner.
