The location is Collins street which is the nice one and the atmosphere was ok but the fries were burnt and the burger was too salty (probably the most salty one I’ve ever tried). Besides, their bun seems like the ones you can find in Woolies or Coles 🥲 I didn’t get the taste of fresh ingredients in my burger at all. I prefer not to try anything else here although the staff are nice people.

I had high hopes for this place. Been here once before for drinks with friends and it was a good experience so I was keen to come back to try the food. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Came on a Wednesday night for parma night. This was the highlight of the evening as it was a solid parma. Chicken was moist and with crispy edges, although it did lack some tomato sauce I don't mark it down too much as that's up to personal taste. Chips were fine - good but nothing to write home about - although I did like the seasoning. Unfortunately the steak that we also ordered was a letdown. Got the porterhouse steak and ordered it medium. It came out extremely rare - almost blue. The kitchen cooked it again but the waiter who served us did not look happy at all, giving a dismissive and insincere apology on her return. The 'wedges', as others have noted, were just roast potatoes cut into pieces. The steak itself was also nothing special - the cut that we got also had a thick artery running through the middle. Some parts had a nice charred taste but other than that certainly not worth the $43 price tag. The main let down though was the service. Although we were greeted warmly it was downhill from there. It took 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order (we did try). Other than the 'apology' for the steak, it was difficult to get anyone's attention even though some were clearly idle. Some were paying more attention to the trivia and trying to answer questions than attend to the tables. When we left yet another waiter at the register was very abrupt and rolled her eyes when I pointed at the table we were sitting. And after all that, they charge a surcharge for credit and debit cards even though I was never told nor is there any sign at the register that there is a surcharge. Overall we were disappointed. I wanted to like this place but can't recommend it on account of the mediocre - average food and the poor service experience.

A wonderful place for catchup, food & drinks. It’s located in the heart of Melbourne CBD on Collins. They always have the friendliest staff who wouldn’t hesitate to tell us what’s best for the day. I also personally enjoy their weekly specials, & the animals up on decor.

What an amazing place! We were greeted by a very friendly but efficient young woman, we were seated and orders taken very promptly. But wow, I thought the service was good but the food was even better. I had a rump steak, and it was seriously the best steak I have ever had, perfectly cooked and so very tender, it cut like butter. Definitely got to go back again.
