The only room on the third floor of the iconic Melbourne Town Hall, this breathtaking space is perfect for a range of conferencing, performance, gala and networking events. An abundance of natural light streams in from the rooftop windows, highlighting the nineteen century original features. Catering can be served in the back of the space, or in the adjoining anteroom which is also suitable for pre dinner drinks. A large elevator provides access for all guests, with exclusive access to bathrooms on the same level.

My husband and I were recently married at the Melbourne Room, MelbourneTown Hall. We can’t thank the team enough for making our day so special! The room was just incredible! With all it's history, much to my husbands delight, The Beatles were even part of this. The ornate timber carvings throughout the room were so impressive! Spectacular venue for an intimate wedding, highly recommend. Huge thank you to Alexa at Epicure! You were a dream to work with and made the process stress-free.

Main Hall

Main Hall is one of Melbourne Town Hall’s most impressive and glamorous event spaces: the perfect home for a gala fundraiser or opulent dinner. Imagine guest arrival through the gleaming marble foyer, with beautiful stained glass windows, indulging in canapes and arrival drinks before heading into Melbourne’s finest auditorium. Sweeping 70 foot ceilings allow for an upper floor with fixed seating for 800 guests. This area can either be utilized for additional attendees, or dimmed to ensure the focus remains the awe inspiring chandeliers. A lift directly into the Main Hall, allows for easy bump in of vehicles, and large product displays or activations.
