We are proud to announce a triumphant success in winning the coveted tender for catering and venue management at the iconic Melbourne Town Hall as of July 1st 2024. This landmark partnership marks a significant milestone in Showtime Event Group’s illustrious journey and signals a new era for Melbourne’s iconic event space.Melbourne was officially incorporated as a town on 13th December 1835, but it was not until 13 years later that the stunning Town Hall was completed in the Second Empire Style in 1887. This imposing design is credited to local firm Joseph Reed and Barnes, who also designed the stunning State Library Victoria and Royal Exhibition Hall within the Melbourne CBD. The second floor of this incredible building is still the working administrative seat of the City of Melbourne, housing the offices of our Lord Mayor. Weave your own event story into the rich tapestry of this magical space, which has seen the debut of Nellie Melba, 20,000 teenagers awaiting a glimpse of The Beatles, and now plays home to the annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
