We love this Bistro! Excellent customer service. Great family environment with a safe playground inside and also one outside too in an enclosed courtyard. We are regular customers and the food never disappoints, always delish and served in a very reasonable time frame. There is usually about 7 of us, and the meals always come out together. Also impressive is that the kids meal's are served first. I highly recommend this Bistro, it really is one of our favourites.

The Collective has a nice relaxed atmosphere and that's where it stops. Tried it twice in the past month. Food very average at best. Staff are rude. First visit, Security offering to get you into a show if you slip them some cash. Then when your not interested they proceed to work together to intimidated and bully. Was very uncomfortable as we were all girls. 2nd visit, Same Security stood behind us with radio's turned up full volume so you couldn't hear the person next to you speaking. Again food was no good. It's a shame as we are all local and would love to have enjoyed it.

After a 2 year absence from the collective we decided to try it out again. What a disappointment it was. Food service started at 6:00, ordered at 6:15 and after orders taken and drinks poured and about to pay, we were told it’s a 45 min wait for food. Mate you’ve only been serving food for 15mins so far. Anyway, when the food arrived 50 mins later, it was very average at best, meat was barely warm, pizza so soggy you literally couldn’t hold in your fingers.

I live in the area and frequent this place a lot. It can get very busy at main meal times but my kids absolutely love the bistro and the kids meals always come out quickly. If you are someone who just wants some quiet time with your significant other with a couple of drinks before your meal comes out it's perfect. The meals are great with respectable pricing considering today's inflation. The staff are friendly and accommodating and love to hear feedback. I haven't tried The Collective over the other side but I'd love to soon. Your kids will love it and give you a much needed quiet meal with the entertainment provided at no cost!

We have taken clients to this venue on many occasions now and the food is always consistently good, however the service is excellent! Josie will greet you with a smile and is always more than happy to assist in anyway she can with our groups of clients we bring. She is wonderful.
