Frida's Field
Frida's Field is a 120 acre farm and restaurant in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Centrally located in the region, just 10 minutes from Bangalow, 25 minutes from Byron Bay and 30 minutes from the Ballina-Byron Airport - it is a beautiful journey through rolling green hills to get here. In-house catering is provided by Chef Alastair Waddell - three time winner of The Australian Good Food Guide’s one hat award. And we are fully licensed to supply alcoholic beverages inside and around the barn. Wi-fi and three-phase power with a back-up generator plus 20 car parks and a private bus turning circle are available, ensuring events run smoothly.

I'm so glad I booked in while staying in the Byron Hinterland. The staff were attentive and the meal was definitely the most memorable one I've had in my life. I had the omnivore set menu with wine pairings, just divine! The delicious carrot cake was such a sweet birthday treat 😋

Must-do experience if you're in the area. The food was excellent, well presented and tasty local produce. The setting is perfect too, a quiet barn overlooking the fields. Staff were great. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for, and it's worth the splurge.

The raw vegetables as a starter was a great way to lower any expectations of flavour. A fine dining experience sharing a table with other guests and the steak was like spam, what a waste of 3 hours. Go to the Hut and skip this place...

What a magnificent fresh experience this is! I came here for a long lunch with my friends to celebrate a milestone and it was the most relaxing delicious affair I’ve ever been to! We had a wonderful paddock to plate matched wine lunch that went for almost 3 hours and every minute was fantastic. I can’t wait to come again.
