Obviously going there for a cruise. The terminal itself was nice but getting there and back is not. Cannot understand a state government who puts this terminal out there but leaves the crappy old road… as the only way to get there from the city or airport.. it would’ve been sensible to run a tram backwards and forwards on days, or light rail or even just fix that disgusting road. And the view for overseas visitors as you’re going past the sewage place and run down old companies, old trucks, old litter, old pipes, old crap.. what a great welcome to Brisbane. The road was flooding over when we went… what the hell?. .. The whole place is an eyesore…. Do you want to encourage people to come there?… I’m quite sure that’s the last time I’ll Cruise from there. I’d rather go to Sydney..
If a cruise terminal is being built in the city, surely public transport would be included in the design. Not so for White Bay. A very expensive taxi in peak hour traffic was not a good ending to our holiday. Will be more careful when booking future cruises to ensure that we never have to go there again!
Great location, was able to attend Hot Import Night at the terminal. With the range of exotic and modified cars with the incredible scenery of the terminal was spectacular.
Lovely building, great facilities but no public transport options to get there, i.e., bus/ferry. Need to drive or taxi/Uber there. Walking is not really an option as Google maps gives wrong directions and it's a long walk from Victoria Rd or Anzac bridge.
Yeah experience is good here ..nearby to opera house Sydney and harbour bridge is also near ..the staff and security is very good and helpful ..they will guide u proper ...and very clean port
