Lovely ambiance. Staff was on point and food was fresh and flavoursome. We had brunch there and the flavours were just beautiful. The mains did come out cold and we did not say anything so It’s on us. Otherwise beautiful food, and service with a smile:
Really nice restaurant on the heart of Surry Hills! We had The focaccia and cauliflower for entree, it’s so delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very impressive! Staff are really friendly, Sara one those waiters who explain the menu and dishes! I really appreciate it. Definitely, high recommendation.
Wow! Shaffa restaurant took my breath away. It is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney from now on. The food was brilliant, the place itself looked incredible and Juan looked after me and my colleague like queens. Thank you so much for this experience! You will see me back for sure.
I’ve been to Shaffa many times — for both brunch and dinner. The venue is so stunning during the day with the natural sunlight shining through, and at night with all the candles and mood lighting transform it into an intimate date spot. And the interior is so unique, pretty sure you cannot find anywhere with similar style in Sydney. My favourite dishes are Palamida Crudo, Chicken Shawarma and Mediterranean Prawns — each bite is so flavorful and well-thought. Such a gem in Surry Hills and very much underrated! Please do yourself a favor and visit 💚
Excellent atmosphere, poor service - Only one person serving all the tables. So of course she can’t always notice that we need to fill up the water, of course our plate was never changed throughout the dining. Food was okay, but not stand out and overpriced. Some dishes were very heavy, burnt aubergine dip was quite salty. Focaccia was salty as well, we can see salt on the top of the bread. Steak, I don’t know what they use to marinate it, but it tastes very strange, and a bit hard to chew.
