Why you'll love West Hotel Sydney

  • Located on the western side of Sydney’s CBD walking distance to Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and city centre locations including Martin Place and the Pitt Street Mall.
  • Provides a sunny, natural environment with trendy healthy food and drink options.

West Hotel is a sophisticated hotel located on the western side of Sydney’s CBD beside the iconic Darling Harbour, and the up-and-coming cultural and commercial hub, Barangaroo.

Distinctively independent in character and full of designer touches, bespoke botanical motifs and striking geometric lines flow from the hotel façade through to the back-lit feature petals in the Telopea meeting room.

Technology solutions, like integrated Bluetooth speakers in every room, combined with experiences that help you disconnect: the atrium ‘jungle’ enjoying the sunshine, natural amenities and on-trend healthy food and drink. Consistent service ensures every stay at West Hotel is effortless, and the team is ready to help you discover a new side of Sydney.

Our interior is a modern interpretation of the patterns, colours and textures of the Australian landscape, including the choice to feature native Australian botanical designs. These botanicals are a nod to the native harbourside bushland that was once on this site.

Each room at West Hotel Sydney is thoughtfully designed with modern amenities and stylish decor, ensuring a relaxing and memorable stay. With its prime location and exceptional amenities, this hotel is the perfect choice for both business travelers and leisure seekers.

I was so amazed at the beautiful hotel and welcome i received upon arrival. I have never slept so well in such a quiet inner city hotel. Loved everything. The atrium really makes breakfast a lovely start to the day. I really appreciated the concierge calling the most luxurious taxi to take me to the airport. An amazing stay will always come back to your hotel and recommend to my fellow co-workers as well. Congratulations on an incredible range of staff at the front desk and all those that maintain the hotel rooms. Was very clean and comfortable.

Overall just a great value stay. Rooms are clean, staff is helpful and friendly. The location is great as I am sure multiple other locations are as well. There are a multitude of restaurants and bars to go to in Sydney. I will say this for the fellow Americans they keep a very watchful eye on you during the complimentary continental breakfast to make sure you don’t get the eggs and bacon. But save your money and go to a nearby cafe.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was great apart from the floppy oversized pillows that you have to scrunch up to form any resemblance of an actual pillow. Breakfast was okay. Nothing amazing. Most annoying thing about the stay and it tends to be a Sydney Hotel thing is that front desk staff at night love having their heads buried in a laptop screen and ignore all guests arriving back from dinner out etc. How do management not train staff to say goodnight , welcome back, how was dinner? How hard can it be? We will return to this hotel but a few changes need to be made.

After a 22 hour flight and arriving early (9am) it was fantastic to be told my room was ready rather than have to wait until later. The reception staff was so friendly. The room and breakfast were excellent. Thank you Hilton and the staff at the Curio - top notch.

I would like to formally express my dissatisfaction with our recent dining experience at your hotel. On the first morning of our stay, our friend, who went to breakfast ahead of us, was informed that she could not sit in the main dining area and was seated at a table just outside of it. When we arrived and provided our room number, we received the same treatment. According to Booking.com, a 15% discount on food and beverages was offered to guests, applicable to all food and drink at the property. Upon our arrival in the dining area, the waitress informed us that we could not use the buffet and directed us to order from a separate menu. The following day, we were presented with our bills before even receiving our food, which was peculiar as none of the other tables had been treated this way. My wife, who is African American along with her friend, found this treatment offensive and addressed the issue with the manager on duty. I am white, and the discriminatory nature of the situation was undeniable. The manager acknowledged the mistake and apologized, assuring us that 10,000 Honor points would be added to her account and that we would be allowed access to the entire buffet for the rest of our stay. Despite this concession, the experience left us feeling uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the promised 10,000 Honor points were never credited to her account, further exacerbating our dissatisfaction with the disrespectful treatment we received. Having stayed at many Hilton properties, we have never encountered such treatment and now have serious reservations about future bookings with Hilton. The hotel and Booking.com need to provide clearer information about how the dining room, including its continental breakfast and hot buffet options, operates and is billed. Booking.com makes it seem as though the 15% discount applies universally to the dining area, when in reality, there are three distinct options: Ordering from the menu (15% off for Booking.comguests) A continental cold breakfast option (fruit and pastries for Hilton Honors members) A hot breakfast option (eggs, sausages, etc., for Hilton Honors premium members or an additional $10 per day per person)
