The management looking well after the maintenance and the overall its clean, renovated resort with 3 great pools, tropical gardens and polite team. Uber drive to the restaurants and waterfront for $15. The bathroom is newly renovated, clean carpet.in Room 16). Has a kid's pool. The breakfast is very good at the Cafe. The only thing I would say is thin walls you will hear your next-door connections:) And their TV. We liked the place especially the cost $. Will be back! Thank you team!
Rooms were comfortable and clean, though looking a little old school. Staff were wonderful. Location suited us perfectly, near to the airport, but still not too far from the city and Esplanade. 3 swimming pools. Plenty to do, restaurant on site, even a swim-up bar. Only small gripe was some construction work starting early-ish in the morning. Overall good value for money, ideal for families.
Spacious clean and tidy room with ensuite shower. Fridge, kettle and cups available. Balcony. Two swimming pools, one is smaller children suitable. Swim up bar. Towels provided with no extra charge. Two restaurants but only 1 was open when we stayed. Pizza place was closed . Food was very good in Flaming Flamingo restaurant. Average price. Wide range of foods ...salads, steak, burgers, schnitzel etc. coffee was not brilliant.
Overall a pretty mid place, quite far out the main area of cairns, pretty dated place and buildings. One of our rooms smelt quite damp, a few roaches in the other which I know is hard to avoid sometimes but we were in an L2 room. Generally just quite cheap looking and feeling but the staff were really lovely
