Firstly, contact the VenueNow team by submitting an enquiry or speaking to one of our team members online or over the phone. We'll need to collect a few details from you, such as your:

- Number of people attending

- Preferred event date & time (and if this is flexible)

- Budget (per person or total)

- Food and beverage / catering requirements

- Any other requirements

Once we've gathered these details, the VenueNow team will contact the team at Brisbane Showgrounds Bowen Hills QLD to check:

The Brisbane Showgrounds is conveniently located just 1.5km from the city CBD in Bowen Hills and 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport. 

It’s bordered by Bowen Bridge Road, O'Connell Terrace, Brookes Street and St Paul's Terrace and is home to the state-of-the-art Royal International Convention Centre, a four-and-a-half-star Rydges Hotel and vibrant King Street dining and retail hub.

The Brisbane Showgrounds is designed to provide exceptional services and facilities to all visitors.

The Royal International Convention Centre is wheelchair accessible on both levels and designated car parking spaces are located on the ground level. Wheelchairs are also available from the Customer Relations team.

Individual accessibility restrooms are located on both the upper and lower levels of the convention centre and there is one ambulant toilet within each bathroom location.

Australia has just got a new large event space. Halls A and B combine to produce 1700m2 of unique air-conditioned space that is perfect for conferences, exhibitions, banquets or other events requiring larger-scale venues.

Halls A, B & C Combined

Brisbane's largest clear-span event space can be created using Halls A, B and C. This 3213 square meter dream has Australia's first operable ceiling grid system which makes it perfect for decorating.

Meeting Rooms 1 - 7

Flexible meeting rooms to suit any occasion, be it a small or large group. Audio-visual equipment like projectors and screens are also available for presentations of the latest data in all seven different sizes.

2 Meeting Rooms Combined

With a combined effort, two smaller meeting rooms can be turned into an intimate spaces for small meetings or presentations. The three spaces equipped with audiovisual equipment will provide you with the tools needed to make your event as successful and memorable as possible!

3 Meeting Rooms Combined

Meeting rooms 1, 2 and 3 combines to provide a sophisticated setting for corporate dinners, meetings, workshops or any event. The space is equipped with audiovisual technology such as data projectors and screens that can be used in order to make the presentation more interactive.

Board Rooms 1 & 2 (each)

Flexible and fully equipped board rooms are ideal for small conferences, meetings or private interviews because the space is soundproof. Free Wi-fi allows you to work on your laptop while in a meeting.

Combine Board Rooms 1 and 2 to create a grand space for larger corporations and boards to meet. The room offers soundproofing, free Wi-Fi, and galore of natural light from its large windows which overlook the street below; it also contains state-of-the-art facilities such as an adjustable podium that can be raised or lowered depending on how many people are present at the meeting table.

The Plaza

Marquee 1

Marquee 1 is a large undercover space that can host concerts, exhibitions and other events. It's accessible via Bowen Bridge Road or O'Connell Terrace.

Marquee 2

Marquee 2 is a large undercover space located in Sideshow Alley that will be perfect for exhibitions and music festivals. This venue has an area to hold gala dinners as well, making it easy for you not only to enjoy the event but also to find a nice place outside to eat dinner! Marquee 2 can easily be found by taking Bowen Bridge Road or O'Connell Terrace.

John Reid Pavillion

Sideshow Alley
