Reviews for Brisbane Showgrounds

The EKKA Festival is the biggest annual event in Brisbane, and I absolutely can't wait to experience it again in the future! It truly exceeded my expectations with its stunning blend of traditional Australian culture, vibrant shows, and an electric atmosphere. From the colorful performances to the exciting exhibits, everything about EKKA felt magical. And the grand finale fireworks? Absolutely breathtaking! 🎆✨ It was the perfect way to end an already incredible event. I’m already looking forward to seeing it all again! EKKA is a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience the heart of Brisbane’s culture and celebrations.

Ekka was amazing and can't wait for Octoberfest next. Wonderful huge grounds and facilities all around! I wish I could have stayed for the Fireworks and enjoys the entire time! Looking forward to next year 🙂

The Ekka is always a fun day. Saw the dog show, the fabulous cakes and art work. Had a ride, got show bags and saw more gorgeous animals. 💯

Went twice this year for ekka and I had so much fun! Me and my friends spent a few hours there trying some of the food, watching people shear sheep’s and getting educated about milk production in Australia. I highly recommend coming to the Ekka it is just a few days a year and it’s totally worth it! Do something different get out of your routine, try new things.

Great day at the Ekka, lots to see and do in particular the food and drink tasting. Try the Mariated Cheese (to die for) and the Lemon Myrtle Vodka mmmmm. Just 2 of the many fantastic things to try. The staple of the Ekka, the animals and art and craft exhibits as usual take ages to see, so much to take in and discuss. In reality one day is a bit of a push to experience so much.
