My partner and I spent months researching where to stay for our honeymoon and were excited to book Peppers Beach Club & Spa Palm Cove, hoping for a relaxing, 5-star experience. On arrival, the grounds were beautiful and the staff were welcoming—but unfortunately, our stay was disappointing from the start. Our room was unclean, and despite it being re-cleaned, it still wasn’t up to standard—my partner ended up wiping down surfaces herself. We tried to let it go and focus on enjoying our honeymoon, but the issues didn’t stop there. There was no TV remote, which wasn’t resolved until the following night. We were then upgraded to a penthouse room, which we appreciated, but once again ran into problems—this time with a broken washing machine, and we had to hand our clothes to staff to be washed. For three nights in a row, we had staff members coming into our room to fix or address problems, which completely took away from the privacy and relaxation we were hoping for on our honeymoon. By the third night, my partner understandably just wanted to leave. We’d flown all the way from Tasmania, paid good money, and yet this was the most stressful part of our entire trip. While management did offer a 15% refund and left a cheese platter in our room, and their apologies were sincere, it didn’t undo the ongoing disruptions. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Daniel and Trent from the management team at Peppers Club Hotel. They both did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible and were genuinely helpful throughout. It may be beneficial for the hotel to implement a more thorough checklist system for housekeeping and maintenance to ensure everything is clean, in working order, and nothing is overlooked. We value the service we received and hope to see improvements in the future, as the staff’s commitment to guest satisfaction was clear.

The room was tiny but this was the first time I'd booked through an agent so I didn't pick the room. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were amazing! They made our stay for us. Mary on front desk, I think his name was Steve (tall guy front desk who booked our tours for us), the girls at the restaurant every morning for breakfast, all couldn't do enough to make sure everything was good. The amenities were great. Loved the pool. Opposite the swim beach. Spa bath on the deck was lovely. Will definitely come back here and stay. Next time I'll book and get a beach front. I think it would be worth it for that beautiful view.

Hi Peppers Team (Palm Cove), Just wanted to share some feedback about our recent stay. From the beginning, we didn’t feel like we were treated with any respect. At one point, when we were going to the pool, a staff member literally told us to “go to the beach.” As most people that work here know, there are crocodiles in those beaches. Not exactly a safe or helpful suggestion. Also, even though we paid for our room, we were denied access to the pool multiple times with no proper explanation. One of the main reasons we booked with Peppers was because of the pool, so that was really disappointing. Overall, we expected better. Hopefully this is taken seriously, because we definitely didn’t feel like valued guests. A recommendation for all looking for this hotel: even though Peppers (Palm Cove) looks like it offers amazing services and amenities, the respect isn’t received.

spent a few nights over Easter at the resort. Was checked in the hotel by Trent. His service was exceptional and even showed us to our room. All the staff are very welcoming, the place is absolutely stunning, the meals were yummy. We were blown away and cannot wait to come back again! Thanks so much for making our stay memorable. Absolutely loved our short stay. Wish we had stayed longer. Felt instantly relaxed from the moment we were greeted at reception. The staff were amazing. We checked out at 5.20 am for an early flight with ease. The room was beautiful with the spa on the balcony Loved the swim up bar. Our suite was well appointed with lovely views over the pools. The resort is great value for money in a prime location opposite the swimming area of the beach. Will definitely be back.
