4.5 stars. The food was excellent. Some was alright, like the Parma being underseasoned. The ploughman's share plate was a winner. A mix of some punchy buffalo wings, chicken strips, sweet potato chips, chips, cucumbers and garlic aioli and blue cheese dip. The blue cheese dip was a bit watery. Tacos were great. Pulled pork one was juicy, flavoured. Whilst the fried chicken one with chipotle was described as tasty, chipotle had spice, and could with a side like a salad to make it an even better dish. Packed a bit of spice as did the buffalo wings. Garden salad was surprisingly very refreshing with a few complimentary ingredients. Sizeable portion which was nice for a side. Overall was happy with the food, drink selection and outdoor eating area. The service was ok, except we didn't have people circling to make sure that we had everything we need. And some of the meals took a lot longer than the other dishes. Good to see the remnants of the Pentridge prison.
Loved this place. It wasn't a night for the outdoors area but we got a seat indoors. We booked a seat for 8 on a Friday night. The food was great! The drinks were good. The staff were nice and friendly. Need to check this place out in summer.
We ordered Spicy Meaty Pizza & Bowls caesar salad. Mocktail Non-alcoholic spicy watermelon Marg 0%. Pizza was delicious and good for sharing of 2. Caesar salad were fresh and tasty The drinks was good, my 1st time try non alcohol Marg. Friendly environment and attentive staff.
If there was such a score that was higher than 10/10 I would give it. Genius idea converting the hospital block (E division) of probably the most infamous gaol in Australia that is Pentridge into an amazing bar/restaurant. Amazing place, staffed with amazing people. Huge selection of beers and all sorts of other drinks. The alcoholic ginger beer is worth a huge mention here. Massive menu with quite a few meal deals as well. QR code ordering for food which is just fantastic. Once the food arrived, not only did it look spectacular, it was simply amazing to eat. Best wings ever. Chips are like some of the best I’ve ever had. Check out the pics, the food was stunning, and the place and atmosphere is top notch. Well done team.
Food was decent, a little on the pricier side. Drinks nice, service was fast paced, but only QR codes used to order. Overall 5 stars for the location, free parking and vibe, food & service could be improved a little.
