Before New Guernica was born, there was Club F4 in 2001. The concept of New Guernica was brought to life in that same CBD space in 2009 and became a residence as a stalwart in the Melbourne and international club scene. Our history includes long term weekly nights such as our weekly Thursday night rave ritual, plus rotating nights and events hosted by a variety of promoters on Fridays & Saturdays. We pride ourselves on our friendly staff and owners who are committed to providing a safe, fun & inclusive party environment

Sammy is the best bouncer, he needs a raise. He makes sure everyone is safe and comfortable, and ensures that people who are alone can find their friends or have someone to chat to until they have a safe ride home. He is so approachable and friendly, I feel safe at this club when Sammy is working

Sammy was the most appropriate and friendly bouncer who constantly made sure I was safe and comfortable. We hade multiple conversations throughout the night where he has ensured I have had a safe and friendly night every single time which encourages me to come back to New Guernica even more due to the experience I have had with him.

The vibe inside was nice. But the bouncer was terrible. Condecending and don't know how to talk to people nicely. Upon arriving I said I haven't bought ticket yet. He said "So?" and smirked as if I was asking free entry?? Also he shouted at me after not giving clear instruction after he said "so?" never encountered such rude bouncer in my clubbing experience before

Nice place good music, shame the two girls at the front had a bad attitude and weren’t very nice which doesn’t set a good mood for the business. If I was the owner I’d change the staff around just for the front of house. Not worth the $25 and should at least offer refunds if you want to walk out after just five minutes.
