Overhyped hotel pretending to be an exquisite venue, but just a constant disappointment, day after day after day. Minor details are key, stayed four nights, no milk replenishment, surely for $200+ per night they can spare some white gold?. There is a water jug and a sign to use it, great, but, don’t expect them to wash and prepare it for the next day. No ice anywhere??. Little things make a massive difference, and turns them from a good place, to a proper great place. Mattress is pretty average ,but I have to warn you about the pillows, I have pains now that I never even knew that I could have. Went down to the “bar”, yeah nah, stupid money for mediocre service and way overpriced beers. Travelled for work, will not be recommending for future trips

Air conditioning system seemed to have a mind of its own and was unable to be turned down to a lower temperature,thus the room was too hot. Otherwise room layout and facilities was excellent.

The hotel is walking distance to the tram, Cole’s, subway, nandos. The housekeeping service was horrible. I don’t think our room was vacuumed for the whole 6 days we stayed, they would only leave us one towel so we constantly had to call housekeeping, the tea was never replenished, the bathroom looked like it was never cleaned, the garbage wasn’t taken out one day. The restaurant in the hotel has amazing service, and it was always packed with people, good atmosphere. Hands down the worst Hyatt I have stayed at and I have stayed at quite a few around the world.

My recent stay in February at Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields was truly a delightful experience, surpassing all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the exceptional service provided by the staff, ranging from the front counter to room service, was evident and greatly appreciated. One staff member, in particular, stood out during my stay. Jhon/Peter (unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact name), a superb restaurant staff member from Sri Lanka, added a special touch to my dining experience. His attentive service and warm hospitality significantly enhanced my meals, making them memorable. The accommodations at Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields are outstanding. The king-size bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, far exceeding my expectations. This level of comfort significantly contributed to the overall quality of my stay, allowing for a restful and rejuvenating experience. The hotel's impeccable hospitality and attention to detail are commendable. From the well-maintained rooms to the thoughtful amenities, every aspect of the stay was meticulously catered to. These unexpected amenities and the overall ambiance elevated my stay, making it truly enjoyable. In conclusion, I highly recommend Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields for its outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and the exceptional hospitality provided by the staff.
