Such a beautiful space with the exposed brick and the sun streaming in through the windows. Amazing coffee. Had the crab Benedict my last visit which was great. Got the hot cake with ricotta this time. It was beautiful to look at, but came surrounded with syrup/honey, making it too sweet and couldn't eat more than a few bites.
Loved the ambience… food was great too!! We had the Truffle and Mushroom Croissant, the Hotcake and Pork Katsu. Just the coffee was not strong as not even hot, even after I asked for “extra hot”. Can do better listening to customer’s request. Overall wonderful experience. Try it out!
Enjoyed a lovely brunch at this cafe on a Sunday. I had the avocado and poached egg served on a pretzel. They loaded the dish with avocado and had whipped goat cheese which was delicious. My friends had the cheese burger and hotcake. I also had an iced long black that was very refreshing. Do note that they have 10% surcharge on weekends so be prepared to pay more of weekends!
Loved Higher Ground. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were 30min early for our booking but they were able to accommodate us despite being really busy. They were out of stock of the Prosecco we chose from their menu but our server was able to recommend 2 alternatives. The whole experience was great!
First time at Higher Ground, and it didn’t disappoint. The space is huge with a cool, minimalist design. Even though it was really busy, the food came out pretty quickly and was delicious. The menu has a good selection, and while it’s not the cheapest, the place is a good option for a nice breakfast!
