We absolutely love the Mantra Epping. $30pp for the breakfast buffet is so worth it for a cute and great quality breakfast close to home. They also do vouchers to gift a brekky experience for your friends. The rooms are always tidy and the service is always on-point.

The location is good and room is nice apart from the poor soundproof, but the service has a lot more room for improvement. When I made the room booking on their official hotel website, there was no spot to add a voucher code in no matter how hard I tried to find, so I had to enter the voucher code in the notes section to reception because the bills were meant to settle in person at the hotel anyway, not directly charged via card online when booking. The main reason why I chose to stay at this hotel because I would get 15% discount with the voucher, since it is not cheap and not as close to the wedding venue as other options. But when I made the payment on checking in at the hotel, I was told I would not get the 15% discount as I did not enter that voucher code when putting in my payment details at booking. I did explain that there was nowhere to add this on the website, and the staff also wondered if this issue was due to a recent updates/changes to their official website. Thus, it was not my fault that this happened. Also, when I made the booking online it was out of office hours so I could not contact the hotel for enquiry, and I assumed this could be sorted out when I checked in and made the payment at the hotel later, especially as I already left a detailed explanation note to the hotel on my booking. I feel this issue could have been handled better by the hotel as it is an easy fix.

The experience of hosting an event (a school graduation dinner) with The Mantra was one of the most seamless and efficient I have ever been involved with. All communication leading up to the event was clear, timely and gracious, and the night went without a hitch due to the attention to detail of our host (Eric was wonderful!) and all the servers and additional attendees. We will certainly be booking again in future thanks to the hard work of all involved. A wonderful venue with great facilities, great food and great staff. Thank you!

Good location on the outskirts of the city. Lovely room with views to the city skyline, and quiet even though it's on a busy road. Exceptional staff ... friendly and helpful, delicious buffet breakfast, 11.00AM checkout, parking. The perfect package. Thank you.

Well maintained hotel. Stayed here twice and rooms are nice, have all the essentials and clean. Their bed pillows are above average and have choice of firmer higher pillows and the lower softer types. Mattress is springy but supportive. For a newer hotel I find the sound proofing from outside traffic noise not that great - the hoons driving by do a wonderful job of keeping you awake all night. The restaurant/bar downstairs is another asset of this venue serving quality food options for a variety of requirements - especially love how still water comes in glass bottles compared to the usual plastic types. The morning coffee though is a bit inconsistent and not hot enough - not a great way to start your day with a coffee that seems like was someone else's.
