Immediately upon entering the Middle Park Hotel, one is struck with the mix of old world grandeur of an establishment over 120 years old, with the modern sensibility that comes from a contemporary facelift. It’s elegant without daring to be stuffy, and casual while remaining effortlessly stylish. That, and the classic pub food on offer is to die for. Apart from the location, the interior and the history, the Middle Park Hotel also boasts one of the longest free-standing bars in Australia. That’s forty-five individual taps - count ‘em! As far as function venues go, the public bar is available, comfortably housing twenty to eighty guests for canape-style functions. 21sts, sporting ‘dos, family get-togethers, or casual drinks; it’s all good. In addition to the public bar, the Middle Park Hotel also offers a private dining room for sit-down occasions, or corporate meetings and conferences. The Middle Park Hotel has sat proudly on Canterbury Road since 1889. Gazing upon the Victorian staircases, the bar, and the rooms of the hotel proper, it’s easy to see why it’s stood the test of time. Nestled between Port Phillip Bay, the CBD, Albert Park Lake and St Kilda, it’s also easy to see why it won’t be leaving anytime soon either.

Great Atmosphere & Food, Slight Room for Improvement I had a great experience at Middle Park Hotel. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a stylish blend of classic and modern decor. The food was excellent—well-prepared, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time for food was a bit longer than expected during peak hours. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a hurry. Overall, a fantastic spot for a meal or drinks, and I’d definitely return!

Didn't rate room because we only went to the pub, but if the pub is anything to go by the rooms no doubt would be amazing. The Sunday roast has to be the best I have ever had, just be prepared not to eat before because there is plenty on the plate.

Had lunch not stay over night. Good was tasty and well presented. Not cheap like the pictures on Google reviews as they are over a year old. Everything had gone up not just here but across the board in Melbourne

Modern, renovated pub located in the inner-south suburb of Middle Park. Serves a variety of classic pub meals and has a wide range of beers and cider on tap. Popular on Wednesday nights for trivia, easy to access via tram from the city. A short walk from the foreshore so you can walk off your meal. I only stopped here for a meal - can’t comment on the accommodations.

Perfect low budget accommodation in central location. Room was basically clean but showed signs of needing a deep clean (mould in shower etc). Air con and TV worked with basic tea, kettle and milk as expected. Dinner was great both nights, perfect pub fare, good atmosphere. No ability to put meal on room tab.
