Om Nom Kitchen & Dessert Bar's concept was an 'invitation to go to town and create intricate dessert artworks for the plate'. In doing that, the team has succeeded with flying colours (in no small part because each plate is filled with flying colours).Found within the boutique Adelphi Hotel, Om Nom is an experience that starts as soon as you walk in the door. It's a strikingly designed space, all sharp angles, bright colours, sleek decor and a modern sensibility. Of course, that's echoed on the plate, in all the almost-too-beautiful-to-eat creations by Head Chef Jo Ward.This is of course a dessert bar, so bring your sweet tooth. The morsels here are decadent, bold, intriguing, and definitely not for those on a health kick. It's also perfect for family celebrations and unique corporate functions.

Om Nom was originally a stunning dessert bar. Was hands down my favourite in Melbourne. The last few years they have changed to a cocktail bar, and whilst I miss their uber creative desserts, I love their current flair. Have been here countless times for both their high tea and cocktails, and will continue to keep coming back

ORDERED: High tea ($79.00pp) 🥪 Savoury: Gougere, pork sausage roll with seeded mustard, boudin en croute, prawn roll en croute, truffle egg sandwich, ribolitta with saffron aioli and pecorino, mushroom arancini with tarragon mayonnaise 🦢 Sweet: Entrement, carrot & walnut financier, passionfruit & coconut layer cake, salted caramel chocolate truffles, macaron, chantilly swan, scones with jam & cream REVIEW: It was a pleasant surprise to see Om Nom operating outside of dessert hours - they offer high tea at $79pp basic package without card & weekend surcharge!! 🍵 ❤ Incredibly filling selection of food. I found that anything mushroom flavoured (truffle egg sandwich & mushroom arancini) was absolutely delicious. Om Nom pulled the earthy, umami flavour of mushrooms so well! 🍄 The rest of the savoury selection were decent. From the sweets, the stand out was the chantilly swan. Unfortunately I was too full and didn't get to try everything (cry!! 😭) but the chantilly swan had an amazing lightness that was easy to consume. It had a beautiful construction that felt like I was eating a piece of art. 🎹 With the live piano playing in the background, it was an elegant place to celebrate my friend's bridal shower. The sweets tier also came out with a lovely Congratulations message. Thank you!! Atmosphere wise - great place to have a girls catch up but the lighting is a little too yellow for our liking (photos don't come out flattering).

Love the setting, and the art / theatre of the signature cocktails. I would of given this place 4 or 5 stars, however we were a little miss lead as they are not a dessert bar as some of the photos show on the reviews. Very much recommended for cocktail and small nibbles. Thanks for the experience and friendly service.

The food is good but not the best high tea I’ve tried. Service was good. I especially love the live piano and the ambience of the place. Stunning design and I love that they have no Sunday surcharge 🥰

What an amazing place! Sensationally crafted desserts with an eclectic array of flavours. 100% worth a visit, but you must book ahead. Expensive for the size, but the novelty factor makes it very worthwhile regardless. Staff also provided a detailed description of the dessert as it was brought out to us. Incredible stuff, definitely coming back!
