Cool venue but bruh, I needed to take a dump and it turned out the toilet seat was gone and there was no soap. C'mon man! I definitely didn't want to GG Allin in the venue!
Persa used to be the funnest club to have a boogie to the nostalgic pop music we all love. It is a great venue and used to have the best atmosphere for a girls night out. The change of music genre and vibe has me and the girls begging for you to bring back the old persa !! A safe place for us girlies to dance like no one is watching!! Pretty please with a cherry on top 🥹
What can I say without being to harsh. Hmmmm. The staff were disinterested in serving you. The venue is just disappointing. Poor choice of / no choice wines and no low alcohol beers. No food or bar snacks. Plastic glasses for drinks. The venue itself is sad and grunge, ok if that’s what you are after. Enough said.
I was here for emo diva this past weekend, and as one would expect the lights were down and low visibility within the venue. I usually don’t leave reviews but this really calls for it, your smokers is located in the back of your venue with a step up to get to it, you have a security guard sat at the door for what reason I’m not 100% sure because throughout this whole experience he didn’t do a single thing. Your step does not have reflective tape on it which is a MAJOR OHS issue, especially in a dimly lit venue. I was wearing SEVEN inch platforms and that’s my mistake but I was exiting the smokers, and your security guard didn’t speak a word about there being a step directly infront of me. Obviously, due to the fact there was no reflective tape on the step I rolled my whole ankle and now have had to get multiple scans, miss work due to being in an ER to fix my ankle and the list goes on. And whilst being on the floor of your venue because I possibly snapped my ankle your security guard just looked at me, didn’t move to try and help. Didn’t ask if I was okay. Please, put some tape on the step at the bare minimum. And maybe retrain your staff :) cheers x
I can't speak for any other aspect of this place but as a live music venue, especially for louder bands, it's an L. The stage is barely elevated making it hard to see anything and the sound mixing is terrible. All I could hear from Melting/Heavensgate/Bloom last night was drums, screaming and a wave of noise. It's beyond me why smaller venues like this choose to mic the drums. The cymbals reverbing over everything was a big part of the problem. The crowd seemed to be enjoying it though so I guess wanting to actually hear what the guitarists are playing is a me problem.
