Modern Waterfront Venue. After recently undergoing renovations, River's Edge offers a new modern event space featuring stunning polished concrete floors, neutral tones, a large marble bar and industrial-styled lighting. River's Edge delights with exquisite sweeping views of the Yarra River and city surrounds, and boasts an abundance of natural light through clear floor-to-ceiling glass expanses. With a neutral palette, and a sophisticated and minimalist approach to design, accompanied by the undeniable premiere location, River's Edge Events is sure to impress. The formal entrance to River's Edge is marked by a grand staircase with a plasma screen. The room extends further towards the river with two stunning Juliet balconies, perfect for a cocktail and canapés upon arrival. Additionally, operable doors ensure the room can easily be configured to suit more intimate groups as small as 20 guests. We had our sit down wedding at River's Edge on the 5th of August and we had such an amazing experience. The venue and the view was stunning and was such a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception indoors and the team were able to completely transform the room from ceremony space to beautiful reception in about an hour. The food was incredible quality. We thought everything they put out was restaurant quality and our guests also had many compliments. A special thank you for Mariana for answering all of my emails and texts and executing my vision and thank you to Ella for being so calming and helpful throughout the day. You both made sure the day ran smoothly and we are so grateful to be able to just sit back and enjoy the evening.

I recently had my cocktail style wedding at River’s Edge and my husband and I could not be happier with our decision of choosing this beautiful, modern and minimalist venue. Our Event Coordinator Mariana was AMAZING! She was super flexible and supportive, accommodating a number of special requests, such as a pizza station (not on their usual menu), and allowed us to DIY our styling, which played a huge role in helping us keep to budget. Mariana went above and beyond what we had expected, and we are so grateful for her support. On the day we were blown away with Mariana and Ella’s (second Event Coordinator) ability to magically appear right when we needed them! They had the perfect balance of presence, and we were able to enjoy our night, trusting everything was taken care of. Many of our family and friends have commented on how wonderful the staff were and how great the food was, not to mention the view! Thank you Mariana, Ella and the team at River’s Edge. We are so grateful and could not recommend you more highly.

Hosted a fundraising dinner here for 47 people. It was a fantastic venue to work with, right from the larger venue management agency, to the local venue manager, to the individual running the event on the night. Seamless transitions between them all. Food was great, service was great, location views were awesome, and there is even a carpark particular in the same building for guest convenience. Would book again.

I was planning to host an event at this venue, but when we arrived and began speaking with the building owner, a lady from the restaurant rudely interrupted us. She rushed over, speaking in a disrespectful tone, and told us to shut up because there was an event going on inside. I wouldn't be leaving this review if she had simply approached us politely and informed us about the ongoing event.

Having my 60th birthday event at Rivers Egde Events was the best choice by far. The view of the Yarra River and the light and airy atmosphere were captivating. The communication throughout the whole process was exemplary. Mariana actually listened to my requests and understood my vision.. The food was of a very high standard and feedback from our guests in regards to venue, food and service was all positive. Ella also went above and beyond helping me with getting ready and was so attentive during the evening as was Mariana and Rudolpho.
