•Our house is your home!
So imagine if home upped its game, like next-level. Interiors to fall head-over-heels for, a wine cellar to get lost in, a place where everybody wants to spoil you.
Located a stone's throw away from the CBD. It’s why we’re called House, not Hotel. We want you to feel like you’re part of the family. Born out of a passion for true hospitality, brothers Victor and Robert Zagame have filled our house with all the simple pleasures in life. Yes, it’s superbly designed, but it’s designed around all the things we’d love to share with you.
We ask ourselves ‘Is it ‘Zagame-worthy?’ From the vintage in your glass, the local produce on your plate, the linen on your bed, and the art on the walls... we take pride and pleasure in all that we deliver.
Premium not pretentious. Comfortable not complacent.
We want you to feel at home in our house.
Welcome to Zagame’s House.

We really loved this hotel! You can’t beat it for location and the rooms are cool with features. We hadn’t seen other places. The rooms are small and it’s more motel style with the doors on the outside, but the charm and coolness was enough for us. They let us keep our bags here all day while we walked around the city.
A little out from the centre of Melbourne, but still close to a cluster of good restaurants, this is a boutique hotel with sizable, well-kept rooms. The room I stayed in had a bedroom, bathroom and lounge room with 2 TVs and double sinks and shower. There are a selection of wines in the room, but I don't drink so I couldn't tell you the quality. The TV entertainment offers free to air as well as a large number of new titles, blockbusters and children's movies. Room service has a reasonable selection, and the food I had was delicious, especially the hot chips. Staff were friendly and efficient. The only really lack was no microwave and the small fridge held some provided bottles and cans and a little space for your own purchases. I would stay again.
By far the best, well appointed accommodation in Melbourne. Italian Street Capital Walk to CBD, Chinatown and more. Best rooms and shower I have come across. Great parking. Great Breakfast options. Great bar and service from all personnel. Will always choose this place for work and pleasure.
Disappointed with Zagame House - after reading the reviews had good expectations but sadly didn’t eventuate. This refit of an old motel or something similar whilst comfortable is dark and noisey. No natural air or light into small rooms. Service was mostly good apart from some of the reception team whose arrogance was disingenuous. You can do way better in Melbourne for less $$$ and better facilities, decor and service.
So it's OK.. But don't believe the hype.. The rooms are pretty noisy with a bar below and the boy racers out on the street... We were offered a 30% reduction on drinks and food in the bar attached as an incentive to come... and gee.. They must have forgot to mention they were having a private function when we were here and the bar closed to everyone... Location is good.. Rooms are clean but the beds are too soft.. Breakfast is OK.. But there is better available outside on the street.. As I said.. It OK.. But it's really not a 300 buck hotel.
