It was an amazing experience. You’re able to see the entire city and see a lot of Melbourne from the Sky Deck. Amazing and beautiful view and you can take lots of pictures, the glass is cleaned regularly it was very clear to see, restrooms are available at the top and a bar with food and drinks. Dont forget to take a souvenir from the machine before you go down. I do recommend paying $25 for the Edge View, i didn’t take it and i do regret it, the view and pictures from there are so beautiful. Book tickets in advance as the line can get pretty long, especially in holiday seasons and weekends. The best time to go up there are directly at opening time at 12pm or close to sunset 7-9pm, they close at 10 so you have very flexible hours and seeing the sunset from up there is not something you want to miss out on.

Our visit to Melbourne Skydeck was a truly memorable experience. It’s one of the best spots in the city to enjoy a panoramic view of Melbourne from high above. The observation deck gives a 360-degree view, allowing you to take in the skyline, river, and iconic landmarks all at once. Watching the sunset from the top was magical — the colors in the sky changed beautifully, making it perfect for photos. Many people also recommend the sunrise view for a peaceful start to the day. The place is very family-friendly, and our kids were excited to spot famous buildings and watch the trams below. The interactive displays made the experience more fun for them. We tried some food and drinks from the café; although the prices were a bit expensive, we really enjoyed the mocktails, which were refreshing and tasty. If you’re visiting Melbourne, this is a must-see attraction — especially for first-time visitors who want to see the city from above. A short visit can give you a great glimpse of the entire city. Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for both kids and adults.

We visited Skydeck on a Sunday, and got there when it opened. There wasn't really any wait, maybe a couple of people in front of us in line. Initially when going to Melbourne we weren't going to do this, but I'm glad we did. INCREDIBLE views, and we stayed up there for about an hour. Highly recommended. I'd also reccommend buying tickets online as you'll likely get them cheaper than if you get them at the door. If we go back to Melb anytime soon we'd do it again. My daughter and wife loved it too!

Eureka 89 - At sunset the view is amazing. It offers a 360 experience of the city. The most advantageous is the family package, I chose the family package 2 adults, 1 child. The elevator goes up to the 88th floor. Visited December 2025
