We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Even though we didn’t book a luxury room, everything exceeded our expectations compared to many other places we’ve stayed at. A special mention goes to the young woman who checked us in , she had only been working there for two days, yet she was incredibly service-minded, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming. One of the best first impressions we’ve had at a hotel. Overall, a great experience with a level of service that truly stood out.

We had an excellent stay at Rydges Canberra. Located close to many attractions and the CB; it was easy to get around and hotel parking was convenient ($10 fee). There were three adults sharing the room with two adjacent double beds that were very supportive and comfortable. The room was spacious with good views and well appointed. The bathroom was stylish with all modern conveniences and had recently been refurbished so ticked all the boxes. There was a piece of furniture in the main room which needed repair or replacing that lessened our rating. Breakfast was buffet style and quite good apart from the filtered coffee which was a letdown. Other hotels we've stayed at provide self-serve expresso machines which are better quality and way more popular. Breakfast was included in the room tariff which, considering it was under $200/night, was very good value. We loved the heated 25m indoor pool & spa and made good use of it. In summary, we had a really restful and enjoyable stay at Rydges and would definitely stay there again.

Mayang gave us a wonderfully helpful reception experience when we checked in on a Thursday afternoon after our drive from Melbourne. Our room was a large, well appointed honeymoon suite. A surprise was the complimentary champagne, ice bucket & glass flutes once we'd settled in to our room! We enjoyed the pool, exercise room & sauna the next morning before our late check-out. A memorable, perfect stay in Canberra. Thank you, Rydges Hotel & Mayang at Reception👏

Service is great, so is food and good prices at the bar. Appreciate the attention given by bar staff when it comes to duty of care when serving alcohol and well being of customers. Location is good and walking distance to shops and restaurants (Manuka). Only negative point is that more attention needs to be towards room cleaning, carpets and bathroom floor was not cleaned for some time it seems, bed Was clean and comfortable. And black coloured cups should be replaced with white cups to enhance and present a clean feel, electric jugs needs replacement too. Otherwise fine place to stay. Room are spacious.

We had 5 rooms booked for an event Every room the bathrooms had mould and soap build up. Rooms were not serviced but the motel have a card to say if room wasnt serviced $10 each day returned and nothing. False advertising. Air con vent was full of dust Location is great The blonde at the bar had excellent customer service.
