Grand Ballroom - Corporate
As soon as you enter the chic Grand Ballroom, you will be swept away by the sumptuous atmosphere and soaring ceilings. An impressive state-of-the-art 10.5m LED screen with 4k video and high-resolution image display makes your presentations sparkle. Natural daylight streams into the room, without impacting the image on the screen. With a capacity of up to 350 guests, our largest event space is a sophisticated setting for your conferences, banquets and chic soirées.
Paradise Room
Located on level 1, the Paradise Room is a flexible venue, perfect for smaller conferences and breakout sessions. With natural light and two built-in 16:9 projection screens, it can host up to 126 guests. The room can also be divided into two separate spaces, each accommodating up to 39 guests. Next to the Grand Ballroom, the Paradise Room is ideal for breakout sessions and exhibitions.
Pool Deck
With the Gold Coast sunset and starry nights as your backdrop, the Pool Deck is the perfect venue for outdoor cocktail receptions, banquets, and wedding ceremonies. Offering bespoke menus, entertainment, and décor, it can accommodate up to 300 guests for a cocktail reception.
The Broadbeach Room
The Broadbeach Room, located on level 3 poolside, offers a sophisticated, light-filled space by day and a chic setting for your cocktail party, banquet, or wedding reception by night. With floor-to-ceiling windows, a private bar area, and stunning views of the pool and Gold Coast hinterland, this venue also features a built-in 16:9 projection screen and electronic blinds. It can accommodates up to 200 guests.
Sorrento Room
Located on level 3, the diamond-shaped Sorrento Room offers natural light and panoramic views of Broadbeach. With three built-in 16:9 data projection screens and space for up to 200 guests, it’s the perfect venue for your bespoke conference, banquet, or chic soirée.
Chevron Room
Located on level 2 with direct access to the Oasis Shopping Centre, the Chevron Room offers an ideal setting for intimate presentations, seminars, or private board meetings. Adjacent to the secretariat, it is the only event space on this floor, enabling you exclusive use of the entire level. This exceptional venue is equipped with a built-in 16:9 projection screen and can accommodate up to 40 guests.
The Boardroom
Located on the highest floor of the hotel, The Boardroom offers natural light and ocean views of Broadbeach all the way down to Coolangatta. Although there was an initial issue with the room we had been given, it caused no problem at all. The staff were more than happy to transfer us to a more suitable room, which was of a higher category and had a beautiful outlook. We really enjoyed the convenience of being close to everything, whether it was the beach, the shops, or good restaurants. We also had the option of a lovely restaurant in the hotel, where we enjoyed a beautiful Italian lunch, served by excellent staff. The complimentary drinks at the cocktail lounge, prepared by Illa, were probably the best I have ever had. Although it is an older property, it demonstrates that the people who make up the family running it are what make or break a good hotel. In the case of the Sofitel, staff such as Lucas and Van in the restaurant made our stay truly wonderful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach. The experience was seamless and truly elevated by the incredible team. Mayra from Reservations started everything perfectly with a thoughtful pre-arrival call, ensuring our booking was well looked after. On arrival, Tariqur at the Front Desk was outstanding! He was genuinely warm, attentive, and delivering impeccable luxury service. He is truly made for hospitality. Thank you as well for the beautiful card and the generous upgrade to an ocean view room. A special mention to Lucas, the Front Office Manager, for his kindness and generosity. His leadership clearly shines through in the team. A truly memorable stay — we will definitely be back.

This was my first time staying at Sofitel Gold Coast, and it was a great experience from start to finish. To begin with, parking was very convenient with a flat fee of $39 per night. The lobby area felt warm and welcoming, setting the tone for the stay. The staff were all excellent - courteous, helpful, and genuinely positive, which made a big difference. Our room on the 21st floor was absolutely fabulous, featuring a balcony with a beautiful water view. We loved sitting there in the evening, enjoying a few glasses of wine and taking in the scenery. The room itself was spacious and well designed, with a separate working area that was perfect for me as I needed to spend a few hours working on my laptop. The food and cocktails were also quite good and added to the overall experience. We visit the Gold Coast often, and I would definitely consider staying at Sofitel again. Thank you to the team for making our stay so memorable.

The customer service is exceptional, from the first person we met at valet, to check in, porter service, buffet breakfast, poolside dining & housekeeping, all the staff were professional & extremely caring & friendly. The food at the buffet breakfast is delicious with so many options. The rooms are clean, the beds are insanely comfortable and the location is perfect, amongst the best restaurants in Broadbeach, above supermarket & shopping centre, 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to Pacific Fair & less than 30 min drive to airport.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic end-of-year stay! We stayed at the Sofitel Broadbeach from Dec 28–30 2025 and had an amazing experience. Every single team member we encountered was great—professional, friendly, and helpful. The dining was a real highlight; the restaurant quality is excellent, ranging from a perfect 'basic' burger to an incredible Wagyu steak. The cocktails at the bar were also top-tier. We loved the pool area. A big advantage here is the sun timing—unlike many other hotels in the area where the sun is blocked by buildings, these two pools stayed sunny and relaxing all day. Our Superior Room was also very spacious and well-appointed. The only minor hiccup was a small issue recording my car registration at the start for car park access, but it didn't take away from an otherwise absolutely fantastic stay. Highly recommended!
