Grand Ballroom - Corporate
As soon as you enter the chic Grand Ballroom, you will be swept away by the sumptuous atmosphere and soaring ceilings. An impressive state-of-the-art 10.5m LED screen with 4k video and high-resolution image display makes your presentations sparkle. Natural daylight streams into the room, without impacting the image on the screen. With a capacity of up to 350 guests, our largest event space is a sophisticated setting for your conferences, banquets and chic soirées.
Paradise Room
Located on level 1, the Paradise Room is a flexible venue, perfect for smaller conferences and breakout sessions. With natural light and two built-in 16:9 projection screens, it can host up to 126 guests. The room can also be divided into two separate spaces, each accommodating up to 39 guests. Next to the Grand Ballroom, the Paradise Room is ideal for breakout sessions and exhibitions.
Pool Deck
With the Gold Coast sunset and starry nights as your backdrop, the Pool Deck is the perfect venue for outdoor cocktail receptions, banquets, and wedding ceremonies. Offering bespoke menus, entertainment, and décor, it can accommodate up to 300 guests for a cocktail reception.
The Broadbeach Room
The Broadbeach Room, located on level 3 poolside, offers a sophisticated, light-filled space by day and a chic setting for your cocktail party, banquet, or wedding reception by night. With floor-to-ceiling windows, a private bar area, and stunning views of the pool and Gold Coast hinterland, this venue also features a built-in 16:9 projection screen and electronic blinds. It can accommodates up to 200 guests.
Sorrento Room
Located on level 3, the diamond-shaped Sorrento Room offers natural light and panoramic views of Broadbeach. With three built-in 16:9 data projection screens and space for up to 200 guests, it’s the perfect venue for your bespoke conference, banquet, or chic soirée.
Chevron Room
Located on level 2 with direct access to the Oasis Shopping Centre, the Chevron Room offers an ideal setting for intimate presentations, seminars, or private board meetings. Adjacent to the secretariat, it is the only event space on this floor, enabling you exclusive use of the entire level. This exceptional venue is equipped with a built-in 16:9 projection screen and can accommodate up to 40 guests.
The Boardroom

We stayed at four different hotels during our Gold Coast trip, and unfortunately this was the most disappointing customer service experience. I booked through Agoda and accidentally selected a Hinterland View room instead of an Ocean View room. After noticing the mistake, I contacted reception and explained the situation. I was advised that changing to an Ocean View room would incur an additional $80 charge, despite Ocean View rooms being advertised at the same rate on Agoda, Booking.com, and the hotel’s own website for the same dates. What made this more frustrating was that the hotel was not close to full occupancy, which was acknowledged by staff. Given the availability, I was hoping for a more customer-focused approach and some flexibility to accommodate a simple room change request. For comparison, we also stayed at Rhapsody Resort for nearly half the price, where we received a better view, superior amenities, and a room that was approximately twice the size. While the property itself has its positives, the lack of flexibility and customer-focused service left a poor impression. Based on our experience, I would recommend that travellers consider alternative accommodation options before booking here. Management could benefit from placing greater emphasis on customer satisfaction and service recovery.

The Sofitel Gold Coast delivers a fantastic stay despite showing its age in places. While the hotel could use a refresh in some areas, the rooms themselves are lovely...comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed with everything you need. The pool area is a real highlight, generously sized and perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. The buffet is excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that cater to all tastes. What truly sets this hotel apart is the customer service, which is consistently spot on. Staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. A solid choice on the Gold Coast.

We had a wonderful experience at Sofitel Broadbeach Gold Coast. The service was amazing, and the staff were so kind and thoughtful. Today, my husband and I officially signed our marriage certificate with our celebrant. We thought it would be a simple ceremony in our balcony room. We only asked for some glasses and a vase for our flowers. The staff noticed what we were doing and kindly helped us make the room special. Especially the lovely lady ( i did not remember exactly her title, she from the Culture and HR department, i think (sorry, I forgot her name) and Lucas. They helped us set up the table, flowers and decorations with a beautiful ocean view. Thank you so much to the Sofitel team for your kindness and wonderful service. The Sofitel Hotel is ideally located with a stones throw from all Broadbeach action. Despite this, there was no noise and it felt very private in our room. Check in and out was easy and staff were friendly. Our King room was spacious and the bed was huge and very comfy. Room was clean and had all conveniences. Love a good bath robe! The bathroom decor perhaps feels a little dated but great shower pressure and met all needs. The air con needs more power and better in room controls. It was a shame that the TV does not connect to any apps. USB/C power ports would be helpful these days. The gym is very small and not much equipment, although I appreciated the Peloton bike. Unfortunately did not try out the pool but looked lovely.

At first I was a bit shocked as l expected the rooms to be bigger but the bed was extremely comfortable and the views were great. The spa isnt as big as it looks in the photos but it was still great to have a couple of nights relaxing in there. The pressure of the shower was amazing. The service at the Sofitel was amazing, the turned down your bed for you at night and also left 2 lovely chocolates on the card that gives you the next day’s temperature and sunrise ect. If you needed anything then EVERY single one of the staff members would be there to assist from knowing how to use the lifts to knowing how to park your car ( if that’s what you required). The location is perfect and if you wish to go elsewhere for your coffee then l recommend No Name Lane as they do exceptionally great coffee and breakfast at the Elk would also be my recommendation. The only thing l didnt like was the wet, mouldy smell outside room 1309,1308 and 1307, it may of been from those rooms having spa baths maybe 🤔 but it wasn’t nice. Thank you though to Sofitel as it was an enjoyable stay.
