From check-in onwards, everything is easy & pleasant with the staff & facilities. Have stayed here multiple times over the last few years & will continue to do so any time we stay in Sydney. Excellent location, comfortable bed & the AC works well. Staff are always a pleasure to deal with & super helpful. Highly recommend.

Stayed here twice in November. Both times the air-conditioning did not work. On the second occasion myself and others I was travelling with asked for room changes and we're advised there were no other rooms available. As it was 36° We then asked for a fan, it took about 5 hours and repeated asking for me to get one. Others still did not get one provided despite the hitel stating they were available and had to walk to kmart to purchase one themselves. The staff did not seem to overly care and just kept advising that either someone had looked and the air con worked or "there's people looking". It was not fixed in the 4 nights I stayed. When i used the bath and emptied it, it flooded the bathroom so had to let the water out bit by bit. There was an incident where the elevators power tripped and they ceased working. When we asked if we could use the fire stairs to get to our rooms, they said they didn't know where they were or if they could access them which was highly concerning should there be a fire. Amenities are ok with a small gym and pool. Dinners were nice and there is an adequate buffet breakfast. After the first night the sheets felt weird and like they were ill fitting, looked down and the bottom sheet only covered half the bed. Disappointingly this seems to be the standard the last few times I have stayed here. It's a very good location (depsite hearing trains all night due to poor soundproofing) and convenient otherwise I think this place would have gone out of business by now.

Hi, I had to sleep on the couch for 3 nights out of my 4 nights stay at your hotel. I notified reception on 2nd day that air con is blowing very less air and not cooling, might need a filter to be cleaned as I could see the air filter in the ceiling fully clogged. On my return air con was left on on full blast with temp set to 18, but room temperature was 30 degrees as it was the hottest day of the week, as we hit the night time the weather cooled down outside but aircon was still blowing hot air, tried calling the reception but no one answered, so pulled the couch to the balcony door to sleep with balcony door open. Next morning went to reception to tell them that aircon still blowing hot air and was promised that someone will look into it, but that night was the same as previous night. When I complained again next morning to the reception and asked for a room swap, I was told that whole tower has lost air conditioning, so a portable aircon can be provided and there is no room vacant in the other tower. I ask that staff should have notified all the guests and should have provided the portable aircon without asking, I believe that is called hospitality. I had still sleep on the couch in front of the portable aircon as it could only be fitted to the balcony door, and room was still hot as portable aircon was not sufficient enough to cool the whole apartment. During checkout I asked to email the invoice but no invoice was emailed, followed up via email but I am still to receive an invoice. Shared this feedback with my employer and they are thinking of black listing this hotel from their travel policy.

The young lady who checked us in was exceptional. Very professional & knowledgeable. I had confirmed that I needed two (2) single beds as I was staying with my son (I had the email confirmation). When I was checking in I checked that this had been done. The young lady confirmed it hadn't but she said they could make up a sofa bed for my son. This was fine. She did this herself which was exceptional & I was very grateful to her. The restaurant being closed Friday & Saturday evening was a nuisance. For breakfast the first morning (Saturday) the staff didn't recognise that I am a Platinum member and what that meant. The Sunday morning staff did. Most of your staff were really good with just a few who seemed disinterested. I have also had to wait for 2 days to get my tax receipt & needed to follow up with an email to get it. Whilst there were a few disappointments you have some staff who are shining stars who soften the disappointments. I didn't take down the young lady's name who checked me in Friday evening but she is one of your stars. She cares.

Usually a great stay, this time however was in room. 221 and the bath/shower floods, the AC didn't work (it was 40 degrees) being warmer weather when the pool was being used outside it was not very peaceful in the room. The bed was very uncomfortable and the end corners were raise up as if curled due to the sheets being ill-fitting. No additional pillows in the room, just the two on the bed itself. The cleaning service did not empty bins or restock tea/coffee across my 3 day 2 night stay. The buffet breakfast was adequate with a modest selection hot hot foods, Bacon, chicken sasuage, scrambled eggs, hashbrown, baked beans and salted mushrooms. There is a small selection of cereals and pasties and toast. Machine coffee, tea, juices (apple, orange and pineapple) available as part of the buffet and Barista coffee for purchase through the bar. Overall it was not up to the same standard as previous visits based purely on the poor state of the room and no turn down service. I've stayed here a few times and hoping this was a once off poor experience as the location is great, near the train station and just a short work from work office, river and good food and shopping precincts.
