I booked a staycation (luxe package) for my partner's birthday. We were both blown away! This is a family-run boutique hotel with associated restaurant (Agostini's) and bar (Joe's). The staff are professional, friendly, yet also discrete, and it's obvious they like their employer and take pride in their work. Before our arrival, the concierge, lovely Sienna, contacted me to confirm our timing for our cocktails, enquiring about our taste preferences (citrus? spice?) so that she was able to book us a table at the bar and inform the mixologist regarding our preferences. Complimentary secure under-cover parking was appreciated. After a bit of email banter, she said there would be a special treat in the room after I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. The signature cocktail experience was out of this world. It is no wonder Lucas the mixologist won an award for Canberra's best bartender. He created bespoke cocktails, attentively suiting our palates, with flair, no wankery, and lots of fun. What a champion. Room service from Agostini's was next level. The antipasto selection was thoughtfully curated with gourmet inclusions. A highlight was the slow-cooked then char-grilled octopus. Divine! The lightly-crumbed sardines were the best either of us have ever eaten. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We appreciated the special treat Prosecco on arrival (complimentary in addition to the package). An in-room coffee machine is always a welcome bonus and hip hip hooray for a proper late check-out at noon (rare in Australia. Note to other hotels: 11am is NOT a late check-out!). Breakfast at Agostini's. OMG. This is beyond any average breakfast menu. We started with fresh fruit and honeycomb. He had perfectly poached eggs on sourdough toast with sides of spinach, thick-cut premium bacon and the most delectable field mushrooms (a very generous serving... more like a field of mushrooms!). I ordered the pecorino romano scrambled eggs and a side of perfectly-cured smoked salmon. Best OJ ever (I think they used naval oranges and not the imo-lesser valencia). Great coffee! The package price was incredible value for money. If visiting Canberra, I highly recommend this establishment.

We loved our stay here. For a family of 4 there was plenty of room and were able to have separate spaces from the kids sleeping. Full kitchen plus washing and dryer. Local pool at the end of the street. If you don't organise parking before hand it can be difficult to find a park but because we booked through a 3rd party we didn't want to spend $20 a day on parking Iif you booked through the website I believe you can register for free parking or something). We did have to get creative on where to park. The food at the restaurant was fantastic and had a great vibe. Would stay again.

Gisela at the reception was very warm and welcoming. For me, it made the experience exceptional. Upon booking, my husband informed them that it's our son's first time in Canberra and when we got to the room, we found a card for him wishing us a great stay. It made him very happy. I love that there was a kitchenette that you can use. They have a tablet in the room which you can use to ring the reception, order things and find just about anything which we think was pretty cool. There's a lot of carpet though, so if you have dustmite allergy, you might want to ask for a room with less/no carpets. The staff are very attentive as well, when we called asking for some items, they delivered it straight away. There's a bar, an Italian restaurant and a Cafe downstairs so it's convenient (a bit pricey, though).

A lovely hotel, we only had the one night here but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and friendly. We dined in the hotel italian restaurant and we did book in advance and were pleased we had as it was extremely busy!
