The Daily Chronicle room is all about keeping up with the latest headlines. This room has versatility and flexibility, able to morph from a room to accommodate 40-80 guests theatre-style or a group workshop for 50. The space can be partitioned into two separate rooms, the Daily Room and the Chronicle Room or kept open in one large area to use in whichever way possible. All spaces are light-filled and private whilst having immediate access to the lounging area and fireplace in our foyer.

I have stayed at the East Hotel many years ago and decided to stay again recently. Price was decent and included upgrade to one bedroom. Unit was nice and has everything one needs and very large, but unfortunately as the bed was so uncomfortable and hard I could not ever stay there again. The staff were excellent and made efforts the next day to add some padding but we still found it so excessively hard. I know it was two single beds pushed together but I can't imagine all rooms had a bed this hard, I was extremely sore for the two days and didn't want to stay the second day because of this. Everything else at the hotel is perfect. The vibe is nice, atmosphere is nice, staff are nice. We had meal at the restaurant for dinner - restaurant was full so we sat in the lobby to eat and was even better - very comfortable and quiet and nice food. It's handy having Kingston Hotel across the road too. Nice area to stay and just five minutes walk to Kingston shops. If it weren't for the bed for sure I would stay here again as I really love the location and vibe.

Our stay at East Hotel was excellent as always. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and check-in was smooth from start to finish. Parking was very convenient, especially with the on-site EV chargers.
A special mention to Todd, who went above and beyond to accommodate our request even though I had mistakenly booked a different room type. Room service from Agostino’s was impressively fast, and every reception staff member we interacted with was respectful, friendly, and genuinely helpful.
Check-out was also a breeze—it literally took under three minutes. I’ve stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. East Hotel is definitely my go-to whenever I’m in Canberra. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely experience - due to delays I didn't arrive until 11:30pm: no problems. Smooth check-in. and 3 days later, smooth check-out. Room was so comfortable with everything I needed and beautifully set up with distinct areas and a balcony with chairs and table. Bed and bedding were excellent. Bathroom facilities were also excellent. Parking underneath at no extra cost.

Was listed on google maps as $150 per night..... it cost 2 adults and 1 child almost $300 for 1 night. Although the room was huge and very nice there was only 1 King bed and my 13yo daughter had to sleep on a fold out bed they brought in. We got room service for breakfast and it was ok.... but $9 for 2 bits of sourdough toast was rather expensive and the other portions were small for the price. The staff were lovely and the carport was easy to access.

Huge apartments compared to typical self contained. It was very well stocked, clean as a whistle and comfortable enough to want to live there.
Loved being able to walk into Manuka and appreciated the fab restaurant at ground floor.
Apartment was quiet at night, felt completely safe alone. Staff were friendly, helpful and non intrusive.
Our newest and largest meeting room is the cream on top! The Crema room is filled with natural light and has a complete luxe feel, fitted out with state of the art audio visual and furnishings. This room is perfect for an executive meeting or conference, private dinner, cocktail function or birthday party. Accessible from the hotel lobby, this room offers your guests a completely private getaway.
