Wonderful Two-Night Stay at Rydges Parramatta Highly Recommended for Comfort, Value, and Service Our recent two-night stay at Rydges Parramatta was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The check-in process, handled by Karen at reception, was seamless—quick, professional, and welcoming, setting a positive tone for our visit. The location was a great fit for our stay. We were in town to celebrate a friend’s 50th, and Rydges proved to be the perfect base for the occasion. The service throughout our stay was consistently excellent. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, polite, and ready to assist, making us feel right at home. The room itself was spotlessly clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We especially appreciated the room service, which exceeded our expectations: our meals arrived promptly, piping hot, and were delivered with genuine warmth and courtesy. This attention to detail truly elevated our stay. Another standout was the value for money. The room rates were very reasonable, especially considering the high standard of accommodation and service provided. Underground parking is another big plus for our stay. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Rydges Parramatta to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and great value. We look forward to returning in the future!

There's a lot that good about this hotel. Location, parking, easy to find and access, friendly service from staff, and quality beds, pillows, and linen, plus reasonably room rates. The room service food was outrageously priced and very low quality food, both our dinners and breakfasts were terribly disappointing. I understand paying extra for room delivered food but it’s reasonable to expect a delicious meal and ours certainly were not. The room decor is also rather aged and very much in need of refirbishment. I would stay again, as the price is affordable and the location is good. Just perhaps wouldn’t rely on room service for meals next time.

Amazing staff and service. Arthur, was very accommodating with every need and amazing service in the restaurant/bar. All staff were awesome at all times though, always friendly, always there when needed. Rooms are large and comfortable with good amenities. Very happy with my stay and would happily book again.

The hotel itself was decent — clean room (wear and tear and dusty slightly) and good location. However, we were disappointed by a misleading offer. When we called to enquire about the booking, we got an offer of $25 voucher daily and was offered to convert it to breakfast voucher. At check-in, we got the same confirmed and told breakfast was included as part of a promotion and you don't pay anything extra. Wepaid upfront at check in for the whole stay. Upon check-out, we were charged extra for the breakfast. When we asked about it, we were told the offer "was per person and not per room" It felt like a bait-and-switch. If something is offered verbally at check-in, it should be honored — especially when it's the hotel staff making the offer. Also, the booking was done directly through the hotel and not through any third party sites. It left a sour taste after an otherwise decent stay. Just be careful and get everything in writing.

Special thanks to Karen who showed more professionalism and customer care then I have experienced at most of the hundreds of hotel stays over last few years. Beds and pillows are nice and great job with lighting in the rooms, having warm lighting that’s not directly in your face, many hotels fail to achieve that. Buffet breakfast looked of high quality as well compared to Holiday inn chain etc. Hopefully Alan Rydge can invest further in this location in the future and continue upgrades/renovation.
