Called at 7:30pm to get a room and they could accommodate. Arrived 20 mins later and Karen at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. She threw in breakfast for us. Was happy with the room and location too.

Staff were really rude when I did interact with them. The rooms are a little dated and really could use a refresh. Used to stay here all the time when the speedway was still there, but would give it a miss now as it looks pretty neglected and dated. One of the taps broken in bathroom (other one worked fine, so non issue) but highlighted the dated nature. Having rude staff just puts a real negative starting point to a hotel stay.

Wow! Cannot believe they charge people to stay here…… online we were offered an upgrade for $20 extra… which said parking would be free, we did the upgrade and then told the parking would still be charged (false advertising) We arrived in our room and it sounded like we had people staying in our room… turns out there was a thin door between our room and the next persons room. Woke up inside of a building site, drilling, what sounded like bolts and screws being dropped on the roof as well as others machines ….. my wife and I decided to have a night away from the kids to celebrate finishing my chemotherapy to this….. disappointed would be an understatement… strongly advise to explore other options unless the sound of being inside a construction site is some thing you like. Called reception … 5 minutes later after they answered was greeted by an impolite staff member that we got the impression we had done something wrong by even raising the noise issue and not even a call back …… Luckily we cannot give minus star reviews… if we could we would have To add: we had staff enter the room when my wife was unclothed… and when mentioning it with the manager we were told there not sure how it was at all possible and if we were sure we were telling the truth…. Wow

My company books rooms here for our sales meetings 2 to 4 times a year for up to 8 people. We have been using this hotel for a number of years now...but 'thing' seem to have changed in a negative way. The mini bar items have been removed from all rooms, I used coffee cups in my room and had to ask for them to be replaced everyday while the used cups were just left in the room. The curtains in the room were ripped and torn. Now, if this was a $100 room...you could possibly accept what has happened. But, when you are paying +/-$650.00 (each) for 3 days...its not really worth the spend.
