Our family of 4 stayed over the weekend of the Taylor Swift concert. They did an amazing job, even putting on a free bracelet making room. Would definitely recommend, was a really nice hotel in a great location.

Ideally located near the heart of the City. Great cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the motel. Good food downstairs with the buffet breakfast too! Friendly helpful staff!

Disgusting service. Fire alarm has gone off this evening. The fire exit leading to poolside, leads to a locked fire exit. Not a single member of staff came to do a head count or room check. Half of our group used the other fire exit. They have been allowed back in the building. Not a single member of staff has been to check on the guests poolside. Disgusting that an emergency exit wa blocked by a key-locked gate and no member of staff did any perimeter checks or room checks on guests. It took one of our party numbers to inform the hotel staff that we were all locked poolside and awaiting instructions. Only then did a member of staff come inform us it was safe to renter the hotel. A fire exit should not be locked!

I wouldn’t recommend staying at this place. I stayed here for 3 nights in room 304 with my children,it was good after staying for 3 nights I booked another night with a different room which was room 104 everything was going great until I went outside for a walk with my kids at sometime around 10pm when I tried to go back up to my room the receptionist stopped me and showed me a picture of a stain in room 304 I stayed in then I remembered one of my kids spilled my coffee in the room on the carpet. The receptionist took my card to access my room and told me I needed to pay $300 up front at that moment or I wasn’t allowed back into my room I paid for then he said he needed to hire a carpet cleaner for the stain also let me remind you it was 10pm at night,my kids and I were exhausted I told him I didn’t have that kind of money on me right now and I would need some time to get it and would have it by morning but he wouldn’t accept that. I understand I had to pay for the carpet stain but $300?? it’s ridiculous and unprofessional that he stopped me at 10pm to pay for it? couldn’t he have waited until the morning but I ended up paying $70 and will pay the rest, anyway I wouldn’t stay here ever again and just letting people know if your looking to stay here they will charge you $300 if you or your kids accidentally stain the carpet.

I stayed at Rydges Camperdown earlier this week for a work conference. Upon checking out and getting to the airport, I realised I had left a couple of clothes items in the wardrobe by accident. Thinking it would be a simple thing to contact the hotel and have this located/organised to be sent, I called them. I was told they would "email the housekeeping team" (couldnt even pick up the phone to call them) and get back to me. After no response an hour later, I called again only to be told the same thing, and when I asked if they could just call them and go and check the room to locate the items, I was told if they "found anything in the room they would let me know" when I knew clearly I had only just checked out and the items were there. After still having not heard anything the next day, I phoned again only to be given the same message. They refused to go and check the room. Given I found this unacceptable, I asked to have the Manager call me, and here we are, still waiting on any further call/contact. Disgraceful. Wouldn't waste my money staying there again.
